Missing Thread

Did anybody see the thread I started yesterday entitled The U.S. Open? It seems to be missing in action. Yes, I did talk briefly about going to see Tiger play, but it was more about visiting and playing pool at FastMikies Funhouse in Del Mar. I wanted to pay tribute to a good guy and a great host, who is really into pool.

I'm not too happy that this thread is gone. I don't start many threads, and when I do I have a reason for it. I'd like an explanation why this thread was deleted. It had quite a bit to do with playing pool at FastMikies, so it was very much on topic.
 
Keith was sweating it yesterday too. I didn't see it, but he said Tiger made a 20-foot put that tied the score. This is thrilling stuff.

You're a lucky man, Jay. You sure do get around. One day in Vegas, the next day at the U.S. Open! :cool:

I may just have to watch the playoff today myself! :p

Jay,

You titiled it wrong and talked about the Open first so it got shunted over to NPR. I just checked, the thread is alive and well over there.

It got moved to NPR.
 
My opinion is that anything Jay writes, I want to see it in the Main Forum. That may not be fair, but he's earned that status as far as I'm concerned.

I probably wouldn't have found it if he didn't post this query, so I'm glad someone linked to it.

my daddy says speak your mind and don't sweat the small stuff. Did you see how she responded to Southpaws thread on Kim Davenport? She constantly initiates the flame wars. It is ALWAYS her that provokes every argument without fail and then cries and plays the victim. Did you notice that while she wasn't posting that there weren't any flame wars? Why is that?
 
Geezzz zzzoooo. Obama running for Pres. and now Jay's thread was moved. What the hell is next, gas at $10.00 per gal? What is this world coming to?

hey sde, I have never posted anything to taunt anyone. I posted this particular post in a humorous manner to Jay because he will see the humor in it if he had read the thread in question.
 
OH MY GOD!!!!!!! Jay asks what happened to his thread. He found out. So this thread turns into an argument. WOW!!!!

I see what you're saying and yes Jay may have recognized your humor. But do you seriously believe that it would be humorous to JAM?

If those words were in a pm to Jay, then fine you could both a good laugh. But you chose to post them in public where there is a very good possibility that JAM would read them, so no matter your intent it was a taunt.

Someone posted yesterday a quote of Rodney King that I'll post again. "Can't we all just get along?"
