Do you know that the roots of majority of Americans are from Scotland,England,Ireland &Welsh? Americans are long lost cousins of that Tiny region of the Globe.

Why might Dennis not be able to make the Cup? Don't they pay travel up front? I don't believe he has a job. Does he need permission to leave the country for any reason? Johnnyt

Last thing I heard was a post from Dennis on here saying he was looking forward to playing at the York Hall. I know Dennis doesn't like travelling that much but as he put it 'It's The Mosconi Cup' I am sure he will be there if he can.
 
All just had confirmation that Johnny and Dennis will be joined by Shane, Rodney and Corey................what a great team!
 
Yeah that's a squad I gotta bet on. Gonna take the Americans this year again no spot...Pooladdict holla at me!!!!

Confirmed, those are the teams! This will be a killer Cup! I'm pretty jazzed since I'm going this year. My first time back in jolly old England since the World Pool Championships in Cardiff. Cheers!

I like our chances now, especially with Rodney in it, and I'm glad Dennis was able to make it. Not much to say about Johnny and Shane, they always bring it. I hope Corey steps it up a notch from last years showing but I have faith in him. Go get them boys!!

I would also like to know if there will be a way to view this. Sopcast or some other internet tv or PPV. I'd gladly pay or if it is ITV let's try to get the right channel and time so it's not a scramble at the last minute.
 
I'm American and support our team as one rightfully should, but I gotta say I really hope Karl Boyes does well this year. I can't help but like that guy. I hope he does very well, goes undefeated even, but that USA still wins.
