Game 1 - Woodward/Styer vs Filler/Ouschan

Ouschan breaks and makes the 1 and 6 balls. They have a look at the 2, but it's a thin cut so the CB will be tough to control. Filler plays it delicately and to perfection. They should be out from here, and they are.

Even though that 8 ball had no business dropping for Shane in that last rack, I thought he played great. He had a few shots that looked shakey that went, but I'll take it. USA still alive and at least we'll get to see Wolford play in singles. Hopefully Sky and Styer are inspired by Shane's solid play.

I thought he looked questionable and just as shaky as day one. Missed two shots and some position play badly and got rolls. Had that 4 ball and last 8 ball rattled it would likely be 10-2.

2. EFFING THIS!!! He's trying to have his fundamentals so pitch-perfect, which is great, because his fundamentals are excellent but you GOTTA MAKE THEM BALLS AND RUN OUT! You can't beat them if you dog the shots that I, an amateur, miss. That being said, the day everything will click for him...we all better watch out! He just needs to believe and be confident.

Styler is pointless, and useless. He try hard to show that he got good fundamentals but its not working out for him.

duelbits is a bookmaker 🤣

if it got out they would lose their sponsor and future gambling sponsors. what they can do is alter the schedule, it seems to have partly worked. i still think it's over in 3 matches today
 
Game 2

Styer breaks dry, leaving a very thin cut on the 1.

Ouschan taps Filler on the back as if to say "go for it." Filler does, but undercuts it, nearly scratches, and Woodward will have a similar shot.

Woodward says "just make the ball, right?", then gets down and drains it. But CB rolls back downtable and leaves a shot on the 2! Styer undercuts the long 45-deg cut on the 2, and Europe is back up.

Ouschan takes an extension, then drains a tough thin cut on the 2. The CB rolls against the 9, so Filler will be jacked-up on the long straight shot on the 3. He elects to play safe and succeeds.

Woodward plays a good 2-rail kick on the 3, but leaves a long look at the 3 with the CB on the rail.

Ouschan puts a MONSTER jacked-up draw stroke on the 3 to get downtable to the 4 - one of the best shots I've ever seen. Europe should be out from here, and they are.

Tyler has nice robotic disciplined fundamentals, but can't make a ball.

Edit: Okay nvm, he proved me wrong.

Ah, you see MR changes their sponsors for EVERY major, darts or pool, whatever. When I saw DuelBits announced, I was even thinking how it works for them. Like "We are happy to welcome this-and-that as our title sponsor, blah-blah", and then it is "of F-k it" :)
I think only Cazoo stays for some time. So MR couldn't care less :)
 
Game 3

Filler breaks, and makes the 1 and 4 balls. Ouschan has a tough but makeable look at the 2 - it barely passes the 3. He overcuts it badly and leaves it over the side pocket.

Styer drops the 2, and the table is open. 6 to the 7 presents the biggest challenge. Styler plays a beautiful finesse draw shot on the 4 to get perfect on the 6, and they're out.

Score 2-1 Europe.
