They're puttin up a good fight... this is an ass-whooping:
Mosconi Cup 2013 W-L Record
Rodney Morris 1-5
Earl Strickland 1-4
Shane Van Boening 2-2
Johnny Archer 0-4
Dennis Hatch 0-5
SJM, I'm not trying to be argumentative. I see your point about the historical score. But this years team may not be one of the weakest, relative to other USA teams; it may just be that Europe has gotten so much stronger.
Watching a few of the MC matches from the 90's it seems team Europe back then was dominated by pure Snooker players. Now it's all players with significant pool experience.

Stu -- I just worked up similar information for both teams and posted it in a new thread -- http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=383696. Then I started reading tonight's new threads and posts and found this thread by you. Good work! See, when we get you off of the front row at the event(s), you actually do something useful!
I'll go ahead and update my thread tomorrow with the final results for both teams.

That is fairly laughable. Are you actually watching the thing at all?
I agree with most of this post, but I feel that Bergman has been the weakest link. I'm not crapping on Bergman by any means because even if he played flawlessly, we'd still be down. Now for some interpretation. By the way, I didn't get to watch the matches today, but .Hall delivering the lone point for the team was no surprise. Hall has been by far the best player on Team USA.
Shane
This Mosconi Cup has been a nightmare for America's best player, but Shane is still in there fighting and is still an inspiration.
Bergman
He's had flashes of brilliance and had a near miss against Feijen on Tuesday, but overall he has been a disappointment. Looks like a future star that will figure in future Mosconi Cup events.
Hall
The shining star of Team USA. To the coach of our 2015 Mosconi team, Hall MUST be on the team.
Schmidt
After a great first match, John hasn't produced and has lost the last three matches in which he has participated. Disappointing for sure.
Deuel
His record belies how poorly he has played. I'd say Corey has been the weakest link on this team.
Justin Hall has been great but his teammates have let him down.
I'm hoping for some kind of turnaround on Thursday but it sure feels like the Cup is already lost. I'd love to be in a position to eat those words. Good luck to Team USA on Thursday.

With that said, Bergman's defensive shot in his doubles match with Hall was one of the best shots of this year's MC.
Yes, this team is not the worst Team USA in Mosconi Cup history. If that's enough to make you happy, you can celebrate now. On the other hand, only three of the twenty teams sent by the USA to the Mosconi have failed to win at least eight matches, and only two have failed to win seven. Barring a rally on Day 4, we're watching one of the worst teams we've ever sent to the Mosconi.
