Mosconi Cup Streaming ?

It's midnight there and they're selling beers.

Oh, I almost forgot. They're brits!

Last year at the Mosconi Cup they were selling beers at 10 in the morning. But it was Vegas, so that's pretty typical. Americans just aren't as good at breaking into communal chants and songs as European fans I guess.

all you fvcking americans here talking about the luck the europeans had - sorry but you all are blindsided.

Thats the typical american standard - only seeing the luck from their opponents, but never their own.
These id.ots of Deul and Morris had so many lucky shots and where not able to win it, sorry but id.ots is the right word.

And now SVB got the SUPER DUPER SUPER OVERLUCK on HILL : HILL :p
Best player - NO - best s.cker, you know. Kicked the 2 in with a lucky shot, got the dead lucky 3-7 combo and then the 3-9 combo.

Nothing more to say to all the blind ones out there :frown:

The rolls even out in the long run. Both teams played great today. :grin-square:

Mosconi Cup

Being able to view the Mosconi Cup live is totally awesome!

Today I didn't have the commercial's with the link I was using, so that was a good thing.

Go USA!

YEAH, YOU ARE RIGHT...SHOULD WE ALL FORGET THAT "OUR" AMERICAN PLAYERS ARE NO MATCH FOR THE WORLD DOMINATING EUROPEANS...GIVE ME A BREAK.. BOTH TEAMS HAD A FEW ROLLS. IN A SHORT SET THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WINNING AND LOSING. AND YOU, SIR, BY THE WAY ARE DEFINATELY LOSING. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE EUROPEANS GET ALL THE ROLLS AND GET THE LIVING SH*T KICKED OUT OF THEM BY THE AMERICANS, JUST TO PROVE A POINT. MAYBE MORRIS WAS RIGHT....WE DO HAVE MORE HEART!!! GO USA!!

What about Apple slopping in all those balls? You guys could easily be down 5-2. There's only one thing that's apparent here; and that is that you have shown an obvious lack of class and have irrationally disrespected two upright sportsmen.

You are completely right with all you said, but I am a stupid european who don´t talk shit here all the time.
Read the sites from 5 to 14 and you will only read, wow, fvucking lucky europeans. wow, fvucking lucky europeans, wow,
fvcking lucky europeans, wow, fvucking lucky europeans, wow, fvucking lucky europeans,

I hope now you understand my post ;)
I am like you, luck is luck, and it will ever be there, no time to say we lost or won because of luck, you know.

Race to 6 is a hard one, and we all know that, but when we play a RACE to 6 with who is first to 11 sets, then..................
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
it´s even a hard one with some luck, but the better side on this 4 days will win it,
and I will have no problem if the US Team will win it, because I like all these guys :grin-square:

The only thing I wanted to say is - all people have luck or unluck - and after so many sets the better one will win

GO EUROPE ;)

Nick got 2 jump safes during the match (he also made a sweet jump shot that was in the middle of the table, that one all skill) and even got one jump carom that sent the 3 ball round table hitting the 8 on the rail (knocking it off the rail) and then ended up right in front of the pocket near the corner. That was after Shane locked Nick up with a good safe.

Shane took some wild kick shots towards the end of the match and left Nick wide open everytime except the last one where the 2 ball found the side pocket and Shane was left with a dead 3 7 combo, but he set himself up for the 3 9 that wasn't luck. The 3 was on the rail and Shane cut it off the rail slightly to hit the 7 into 9 so that the 3 9 lined up for the win.

I didn't watch most of the doubles match before that (fromsport stream was down for half of it) but from what i saw corey didn't want to be str8 on that final shot he took (he was talking to Rodney about the shot before Rodney took it and said to just leave him an angle). Rodney left him more str8 than he wanted and he over drew the ball, that's why they loss, a positional mistake. In the Shane vs Nick match up the europeans did get more lucky rolls. Shane even drew the cue ball into the corner pocket and left Nick an easy 8 to 9 runout and he still lost. Shane played better despite the lucky 2 kick shot in the end. It's as simple as that.

There you are - SVB won it becaue he played better - thats it
I only hate that fvucking talking about the luck the europeans had for about 10 sites, you know.
But like I said, that´s the SUPER DUPBER MORE THEN NECESARRY PATRIOT AMERICAN MODE ;)
Patirot - Fine, US Patriot - they overdoe it most of the time, you know. :o

Eric"h" ------ Patriot, yes, but not more (BAD is still BAD and not UNLUCKY)

More observations from the sidelines - York Hall is totally unlike any arena I've ever seen pool played in. Seats four to five hundred when full and not a bad seat in the house. Perfect for pool, you feel close to the action and can see every shot. Kind of an amphitheatre effect. The crowd is outrageous, loud, sometimes raucous and passionate about their players. I love it! I wish we had crowds like this for pool in the USA.

The refs (Michaela and Nigel) walk a fine line between admonishing the crowd and allowing them to make noise. As long as they quiet down when players are shooting, it's not a problem. When an American player makes a good shot or a good run out, they applaud them as well, just not nearly as loud. It does get loud in here when the crowd cuts loose. The acoustics of this old building were designed for theater productions and good sound amplification. Like I said, I like it. It might be the coolest place I've ever seen a tournament played in.

I feel for the players, it's like being in a pressure cooker, surrounded by people on all sides breathing down your necks and cameras in your face as well. Definitely a tough venue for Team USA, and even a team of five Johnny Archer's might be underdogs here. Johnny showed a lot of heart to come back to win the match with Ralf, after everything went sideways. And especialy after he and Shane had lost to Darren and Karl earlier. Shane also played great in winning his match with Nick. He finally looks really into it, which bodes well for USA.

Darren is more wound up then anybody, kissing his partner (Karl), his teammates (all) and even me on his way out of the arena. I love his enthusiasm. He is the fire that is burning brightest for Europe right now. This is shaping up to be a memorable Mosconi Cup, one of the best ever! On this second day, the players are getting the feel of the table and the level of play picked way up. It's going to only get better too. I'm glad that so many of you have found a way to watch these matches online.

Hat's off the Matchroom and SkySports for making an event like this possible and allowing so many people to see pool in it's finest hour. I need some rest!

Thats maybe the best all around description I ever read about a venue.
I am only able to see some LIVE STREAMS, but I really think that this is the audience and venue we need for pool.
Smaller places (app 500 to 800 people) going straight upwards in the stands and making unbelievable sound (DB).
Thats the perfect place in my eyes - the old York Hall - thanks for the great description, Jay.

Eric"h" ------ would love to be there

It's an awesome showcase of talent...I can feel the pressure! The players don't look as comfortable as they soon will I'm sure.
The table looks triple tough, I'm loving the whole show..you, Jerry and team are doing a Great Job!!!
Now to convince Roy its like his tour de france ....I need to watch mine now :)

Must agree totally with mair23 -- "That's maybe the best all around description I ever read about a venue." Take that well deserved rest. Great job commentating, as always.
