Mosconi Cup Streaming ?

I have to call BS on Matchroom Sports !

They are going away from the proposed format.
Not playing all the matches in the session first. Only played 3 instead of 4 twice now. So they shorten the race to 5 instead of 6 !
WTF !!!
 
They just signed off untill the evening session, the announcer said see you back in a couple of hours. I hope this helps.
 
Score now is 5-5. 10 matches have been played and should have 12 complete at this time !

TV coverage has a huge influence on sporting format unfortunately

Matchroom can't have things go so far over hence the race to 5 instead of 6

Honestly, it doesn't make that much difference and it used to be a race to 5
 
OK, can someone please bring me up to speed? I slept in and the matches were not on at any of the usual links we've been using. What time did the afternoon session end? Had it ended by 9 or so pst? The results page at matchroom shows no score for the last listed match but I'm gathering this one was postponed.

They do what the want, thats Matchroom for ya !

Other sports play overtime if needed they dont hack up the format .

No biggy right ? But is it right ?

You say something is to be done to determine an event's winners and losers and then you change it as you go !

Sorry I just have a hard time excepting it. I competed for many years and would not like it if I was on the players end of it.

Wasn't that yesterday? You mean they played again today and it was the same result? No I'm really confused. Because this is not one of the listed match ups on the website for today's 2P lineup.

I'd just like to know what time the matches scheduled for 2PM ended today PST, and what is the stream link that worked for that session (though it will probably be a different one for this evening's matches). I'm just trying to figure out if I got up too late to catch any of it or if none of the links I tried were working.

As far as changing the format, that sucks. I'd be especially pissed if I was a paying ticket holder for a session and one of the matches was canceled.

I tuned in at 7:00 AM Mountain Time for start of match. I have been watching it all via "Veetle" You must register first. www.Veetle.com will get you started.

I wish we had crowds like this for pool in the USA.

The refs (Michaela and Nigel) walk a fine line between admonishing the crowd and allowing them to make noise. As long as they quiet down when players are shooting, it's not a problem. When an American player makes a good shot or a good run out, they applaud them as well, just not nearly as loud. It does get loud in here when the crowd cuts loose. The acoustics of this old building were designed for theater productions and good sound amplification. Like I said, I like it. It might be the coolest place I've ever seen a tournament played in.

I feel for the players, it's like being in a pressure cooker, surrounded by people on all sides breathing down your necks and cameras in your face as well. Definitely a tough venue for Team USA, and even a team of five Johnny Archer's might be underdogs here. Johnny showed a lot of heart to come back to win the match with Ralf, after everything went sideways. And especialy after he and Shane had lost to Darren and Karl earlier. Shane also played great in winning his match with Nick. He finally looks really into it, which bodes well for USA.

Darren is more wound up then anybody, kissing his partner (Karl), his teammates (all) and even me on his way out of the arena. I love his enthusiasm. He is the fire that is burning brightest for Europe right now. This is shaping up to be a memorable Mosconi Cup, one of the best ever! On this second day, the players are getting the feel of the table and the level of play picked way up. It's going to only get better too. I'm glad that so many of you have found a way to watch these matches online.

Hat's off the Matchroom and SkySports for making an event like this possible and allowing so many people to see pool in it's finest hour. I need some rest!

I didn't ask what time they started, I asked what time they ended. But thanks. :)

And yes, I watched it on Veetle yesterday too, but I didn't have to register for anything, just download the software.
