Races to 6 was short enough, but now 5?! Are they trying to turn this into a coin flip?
What I just don't get is why on many of these worldwide tournaments the stream is always moving to different sites and everyone has to scramble the internet to find it and post it up on AZB for the rest of us. Wouldn't it be a simple matter for Matchroom to just have a link to the stream on their own website? It's just so hokie.
My guess is that skysports has the exclusivity for the retransmission.

That's fine, then link to the Skysports stream on the matchroon site. I'm assuming we are not watching some sort of pirated feed on fromsport. But it's on fromsport, then it's not but it's on a different fromsport url, then it's not on either but it's on veetle, then a different veetle url, yada-yada. It's so "Where's Waldo" it's asinine. The Manila tournaments at the end of the summer was the same way.

A race to 5 or 6 is obviously not a true test of the better player, but the Mosconi Cup is the one competition where I actually don't mind the short races. It makes almost every race close and exciting, and means that every shot or good or bad roll can be the turning point of the match. The Mosconi Cup is really about emotion, and the short-race format makes almost every match and every shot charged with emotion.
Good point but once they publish a format they should stick to it not change it as they go to suit their needs. Be prepared for extra playing time !
