I know that Hatch should have been out, but he has the pressure of his entire team on him. He said he was shaking from the adrenaline and nerves.
I mean he is human... I love the emotion and mistakes this tournament brings out in players, especially robots like Soquet.
The biggest difference maker in my eyes between the Americans and Europeans has been the break... Europe has been much more consistent, IMO...
This is going to be great if it goes 10-10... Can't wait for the evening session! So jealous of all you there! GO USA!

Everyone needs to understand the pressure these guys are under. EVERY shot is huge. Dennis said himself, he's shaking like a leaf. When you're under that kind of pressure, the simplest of shots are difficult to make.
Even the most rock steady money player, I think would be shaking in these conditions. This pressure is unlike any other pressure in the game. This kind of pressure is completely different then the pressure of playing for 20k or more. I think this kind is much harder then the money pressure kind.
We're almost shaking and we're just watching
Wow...what a finish!! Dennis made some key errors, but each time he played a great safety to make up for it. To thin a ball and get under the 8 ball and it's only a few inched from the rail... what a shot he made there. Then after making a tough 7 ball, he gets bad on the 8. Once again.. a tough safety to play here. Only one ball on the table to hide from, but he plays a good safe and leaves Nick frozen to the rail, 9 feet away from a thin cut.
I wish we could be watching this live in the US on TV. This is ridiculous, if someone couldn't get excited about watching pool in this format, they're heart is malfunctioning

Any other guys wives being a bag while this is on. So far the room has to be vacuum, furniture moved, music blasting, meeting on grocery list and now I have to drive 2 hours for a damn tree.

Unfortunately, most of us will never see or feel the heat of the Mosconi Cup. We just aren't in that league.

must be uk time. us eastern time 7pm would make it midnight in london. so that means it starts back up at 2pm here on the us east coast.

That may have been a bit sketchy, but Hatch got the W. That W keeps us realistically alive whereas an L would have left a colossal mountain to climb.
