Mosconi Cup Updates

Big mistake from Johnny not getting back for the 5 in the side. That could change the momentum in this set.

Looking good so far, nice effort by Shane in the opening match.

By the way, I love races to six. Next error might cost you the match, let your opponent back into it, or put the match away. Pressure, pressure, pressure.

VanDenBerg's missed eight ball when he had a chance to go up 2-0 was the defining moment in the first match, and Shane never looked back after wining a rack he didn't expect to.

Don't stop now, Team USA. Get it to 10-8 and then Team Europe might start to worry.

If it gets to 10-8 Ralf is going to make Putnam cry ;)

Archer feeling the pressure, yet another error.

4-3 USA, Europe breaking the next rack.

Just as an aside, does anyone know if those two guys in the stars and stripes tights are one of us? :embarrassed2: Hopefully they brought several pairs of those those outfits because otherwise with the lights and heat in the room they must be smelling pretty ripe by day 4.

You guys are not wrong but if I had to put someone in there is a part of me that says I have to put Johnny in? Maybe wrong but I would have too.

I agree,Johnny would be my pick.Shane plays lights out,no doubt about it,but Johnny had more experiance in team play pressure matchs imop..But tne team has to,get to that point.

If it gets to 10-8 Ralf is going to make Putnam cry ;)

I agree, if it gets to Putnam vs Ralph the USA's run ends there with about 90% certainty, he is a gigantic underdog in that match under that type of pressure against a killer like Ralph who is going to torture Shawn for every little mistake he makes.
