Mosconi Updates Please

This stinks. Same thing happens in golf every 2 years. I get pumped up and the Euros either pound us or come back and steal it.
 
They must have made the match lineups prior to the cup. Earl is the only one shooting decent and he should've played a singles and doubles match today.

Ralf won and now the USA is at the bottom of a deep hole. I don't think you can come back for 0-7 against a team playing as well as team Europe. All Europe has to do now is play even match for match and even if the USA wins a couple they can't win the Mosconi Cup.
 
This should encourage everyone to go out and hit the practice tables hard... Seems like it's only gonna get easier to make the Mosconi cup team for the USA with the usual suspects unable to carry the banner into battle without shooting themselves in the sack...

Yup. Down 5-0, the Americans had no business putting up anyone whose name wasn't earl, SVB and Johnny. It's do or die.
 
Alright, keeping my fingers crossed! We WILL put a point on the board this match! Well......as long as earl can keep himself in check.
 
This is terrible for me to watch and I can't imagine how the USA team must feel inside with people watching all over the world! This may turn out to be the worst defeat in Mosconi Cup history.

At 4-1 Hatch, he was cutting the five in the upper r/h corner. He rushed the shot and missed by a good inch, let Ralph back in.
 
wow, kind of glad know I had to work and couldn't watch it; I would be pissed by now ! Not even 1 frickin game out of 7? WTF?
 
Finally a matchup we have to be favored in.... Think we would have only been favored in the SVB/Mika Match... We had Dennis or Rodney involved in the other 6.......
 
Meanwhile, Earl talks to Shane, and Shane can't hear a word he's saying because Shane turns off his hearing aid during matches.. LOL :D
 
Europe up 1-0... Ball down on the break and a safe had Earl try and tie balls up... Ball in hand runout... Perfect play by Mika and Darren that rack
 
Well played Hatch. What a worthy mosconi member.
A little more focus on the pool table and not the crowd may help in the future.

Ouch.... 2 balls down from Shane Earl tries to manufacture a shot makes the 2 but the 3 refuses to play along... SVB misses a bank on the 3 and Europe is off and running again
