Most balls you've ever seen pocketed on the break?

3 shot out

I was watching my friend play a match at the SD State Valley Tournament about 6 years ago. It was hill, hill. His opponent broke.....made 6 stripes, and no solids....was left with a straight in stop shot on the final stripe, and a straight in 8-ball for the win....match over in 30 seconds!:yikes:

6 balls in 9ball, and the 9 stayed on the spot! the 6 and seven both were hanging inside an inch from a corner and a side pocket, that close to 8 balls on the break! The cue ball parked in middle of the table too, sure wish i could bottle it up and sell it!

6 on 9 ball

A couple of years ago my buddy made 6 on the break in 9 ball. He was hooked good so I felt guilty when I got ball in hand.

I remember watching a 9-ball tournament on ESPN where Allen Hopkins was doing commentary, and he said he once saw a player make 8 balls on a 9-ball break. He also said the only ball that wasn't pocketed on that break was the 9-ball.

I once saw a guy make 7 balls on the break in a tournament match and was hooked. There was a safety battle between the two of them and it went back and forth several times (I think there might have even been a miss or two by each of them). Craziest thing ever to make 7 on the break and have it be such a long game!

Seen 9 balls made. English 8 ball on a 7ft English pool table in a pub. Guy couldn't play at all. Just out having a quiet drink with his girlfriend having a game of pool and he pulled off a wonder break. Unfortunately the black went down on the break and in 'pub' rules here, if that happens you lose the game.

If you've ever played English 8 ball you'll know how hard it is to make 3+ on the break. Pockets are tight, CB is small and light and its hard to get real power behind the break shot without hitting the CB and rack where you want.

I haven't seen 10-ball mentioned yet. I've just watched a match where a local pro makes 5 on the break playing 10-ball. It looks very impressive, of course there is some luck factor that they didn't collide and went all the way to the pockets, but still looks like a charm and very smooth. Provided it was hit with control and the cue ball stayed in the middle, that was a great break. Will try to post the link later.

I made 6 balls on shane at the Orlando open . He made 7balls and won the break contest...
Ps this was on a bar box.

Ten ball break

I was playing our local monster (Russ Edwards) some ten ball just last week. He gives me the 7,8,9 wild. I made 4 balls on the break three times in a row and the ten went every time. I got lucky as crap. Was awesome to see the look on his face though.

six

I've made 6 balls on the break twice playing 9 ball, both times on a barbox....a Valley and a Diamond. Was hooked good immediately after the break the first time and got out the second. Never made more than 5 before in 8 ball on a little or big table. I've seen 7 made before on 8 ball rack on a 9 footer.
