Most comfortable dress shoes for playing in?

Have a tournament coming up in May that requires formal dress, wondering if anyone has any hints to any shoes that are the most comfortable to play in while being all nice and shiny?

Rockports are good. Whatever you get, make sure they have a rubber sole. Your nu*s will thank you...

Ecco, Mephisto, and Born -- all great "dress" shoes for men.

I used to hear high praise for Eccos and Mephistos, but in recent times, the Born shoes seem to be the shoe of choice, comfortable when playing pool, at least that is what I have been told.

Here is the Linden moden, made by Born, about 110 bucks. These shoes are hand-crafted, soft leather, comfortable, and light on the feet.

I wear Clarks. There comfortable & around $60 for a pair. Looks very similiar to the shoes pictured 2 post above mine.
But whatever shes wearing looks pretty good to. I forgot what was the question again? LOL

I second the vote for Clark's. I'm wearing a pair of their shoes right now, and I'll be playing pool in them from roughly 6 hours tonight.

I wore Bostonians for years for work (same as Clark), but trust me when I say that Allen Edmonds are the most comfy.

i have 2 pairs of cole haan's that i've found extremely comfortable when i was on my feet workin all day, then shooting pool all night

Ecco's are pretty comfortable...But for my money the most comfortable dress shoe to play pool in are Doc Martens with the boot tread air wair..Your feet literally bounce when you walk

Cole Haan shoes really comfortable for me to wear when in a tourney, you know Nike owns Cole Haan now and really made the line more comfy.

just wear some shiny cowboy boots, and then go Burt Reynolds for the rest of your attire and you're good to go

P.S. don't forget the rattlesnake skull bolo tie
