I've got nothing expensive now, but in the early 70's I had two heavyweights. The first was a Balabushka; I paid $100 to a player called Midge in San Jose, played with it for a couple of months, wasn't crazy about it, and sold it for $200. The second was a Level 2 Harvey Martin that I paid $50 for in Bucktooth's pool room in Castro Valley, CA; my favorite cue of all (someone stole it out of my car while I was at a Santana concert at Winterland). The Martin is valued at between $1500-$3500, and I honestly can't remember what the Bushka was. In the San Fran bay area in the 60's and 70's, cues like these were fairly easy to find because EVERYONE wanted a Joss (the first hand-engraved Joss went to Ronnie Allen and it seemed that Mr. Janes and Mr. Stroud were only making cues for pro players) or a GINACUE. Also, Tad cues were getting popular. Funny looking back - the Balabushka was not a big deal, but I paid somebody (Denny Searces I think) $5 just to hit a few balls with his GINACUE (one of the early models) just so I could say I'd played with one - what an awesome cue.
