Yes sir.

justnum has been back tracking the whole way after bashing MG.

Not only has he backtracked, he has posted the same statement
ad nauseam. It is clear to me how he has attained his 4000 plus post count. One can only wonder if his stated objective is clarity and helpfullness as he professes or merely an attempt to add to his count.
Brings to mind an old saying......If you cant impress folks with brilliance....baffel em with bullsh!t......Dan

So let me ask you a question. Do you think this thread is helping you in any way? Seems like you are only digging deeper.

Dear leagueguy,
The BCAPL apparantly does't accept petitions, being the American Way or not!
C. Carl McConnell

As for the MG posts or posts about MG those are character testimonies just like yours take the good with the bad and let readers decide for themselves.QUOTE]

If you are going to use the forums as to the references regarding the charcter of Mark Griffin and Scott Lee I think it is pretty safe to say that they carry a lot of respect on this forum.

I think I will start a poll for the AZ users to tell us who they have more respect for Mark and Scott or Justnum and C Carl Mcconnell

Leagueguy

Dear Mark,
To start with you say I was out of line somehow. But you don't know how is obvious.
I did not have an idea for a rule change it was forced upon me by a league operator against the BCAPL Rulebook.
Your second idea is correct.
Yes I took the questions to the BCAPL because if this statement, "Please email Bill Stock at bills@playcsipool.com with any questions regarding these and any BCAPL rules." ANY is the operative word here. But no, the petition was ignored and without comment.
The reasons why were so vague as to be useless as a tool for communication and didn't fit with actuallity.
No, the BCAPL let me go on a request from the league operator but should have required much more information.
You need to reread my statements!

Justnum, I am not looking for a fight with you as I have always taken your posts as good ones. In this case it seems you are trying to defend the OP for some reason when there is glaring evidence that he was out of line somehow. I will explain what I see as bluntly as possible so as it does not get lost in words.

McConnell had a idea for a rule change and put it to the BCAPL.

BCAPL rejected the idea for whatever reason (Don't matter why)

McConnell Went to local BCAPL with a petition to change the rules and was shut down again.

BCAPL explained why (more than once based on original post)

McConnell didn't want to listen and became a constant disrupion to the BCAPL HQ and to the BCAPL local.

McConnell would not let it go and so they let him go.

I think it is as simple as that. If he did not agree with the rule he should quit the league and move on. This is as black and white as I can make it from what I have seem from the McConnell's own statements.

Jason,
BCAPL #263 was never spoken to by me for any reson bar none until petition time then not one was bothered during their game and the league operator and her team were not even in town on that night! I have witnesses.

...but he did. He was continuallly disrupting the BCAPL #263. In the eyes of those who dictate the rules that is.

Dear spktur,
Tell me how to violate this ban I love to try, what can they do to me that has not already been done?
C. Carl Mcconnell

If there are laws broken, file charges and have him investigated by the authorities, if you think you have civil damages file suit. But the bottom line here is Mark Griffin is in charge of the BCAPL at the national level and he has the authority to ban you from the league and any other BCAPL functions and if you try to violate this ban forcibly could have you charged for that violation.

Mark is one of the best guys in the industry, without a doubt top 5 in the pool world and your on here making a mess about rules. If you do not like the rules then start your own league or join one that better suits your butt. ;)

Please, oh pretty please, may we make a very large wager on whether there will be a BCAPL league in your area next year? I'm betting heavily there will. Of course you will have to post upfront!

Scott Lee

If your speaking of the de-sanctioning that same 54.17% think that I got a raw deal and are going to finish up this season and forget this league next year. So next year there probable will not be a league.

1)Calling the 9-Ball or surrendering ball in hand when under the BCAPL Rules 9-Ball is not a call pocket game. 2)Over ten times on the BCAPL Web-Site the following statement is made 30 players and 6 teams of 4 players each make up a league the only place that it says anything else is for signing up a new league where you don't have 30 players yet but expect to before league starts in Sept. 3) The fact that the Web-Site states that the new rule book (Oct. 1, 2007) will govern ALLBCAPL play. and Mark Griffin adds the new book will ensure consistent application of the rules regardless of whether you play in a local, state, regional or national event. That includes the game called 9-Ball.

Wow, thanks for that one, clear sentence I asked for.

Let's break this down, shall we? Your first sentence is:
Calling the 9-Ball or surrendering ball in hand when under the BCAPL Rules 9-Ball is not a call pocket game

If you were to say ... "9-ball is a not a call pocket game according to the BCAPL Rules." I would understand that, but instead you say:

"Calling the 9-Ball OR surrendering ball in hand". Why and for what purpose does the "or surrendering ball in hand" part have anything to do with the second part of your sentence? This makes no sense at all.

Should we go to sentence 2?

Oh wait, didn't I ask you to do this in one clear statement? Not only were you not able to follow simple directions, you used numbers to make your point while quoting my statement of "one clear sentence"...or should I say you attempted to make your point.

I digress. Let's end this foolish thread please.

This is a waste of good internet space and your 36 posts into full blown fool.

Thanks a lot. Now I'll be humming that silly song the rest of the day... :p

All together now...

I'm Henry, the VIII, I am
Henry, the VIII, I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before

And every one was an Henry
(HENRY)
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam
(NOR A SAM)
I'm her VIII old man, I'm Henry
Henry, the VIII, I am

Second verse same as the first

In case you forgot how it goes, from Manchester, England: Herman's Hermits.

You should circulate a petition that everyone gets a free beer. I bet you would get more than 51% of the vote and im sure the rules being what they are it would be official, right after they stopped laughing. Another filing for the circular filing cabinet.

This is one of the biggest drawbacks of a free society with lots of laws and access to a legal system. You get people who think they are entitled and who use words like "fraud", "jailtime", "implied contract" because they don't want to call the 9.

Good luck, im sure your drafting out your complaint to file here soon mr pain in the ass, im gonna sue pool player.

Peter Noone played at the local casino a year or so ago. I didn't hear about it till it was too late for me to arrange the time. That would have been a hoot.

I read that he was still very active. I actually have all of these songs on 45 records. My favorite Herman's Hermits was "Wonderful World."

I think I was in junior high school when it came out. Loved that song.:p

You're probably in the same demographic as my sister. That's how I heard all these songs originally. :p

"Mrs.Brown" was fun, but I was partial to their version of "Sea Cruise".

Probably their best song, IMHO, was "I'm Into Something Good." I haven't heard that one in a while, I'll have to dig it up somewhere.

Look at us hijaking the thread with Hermit-talk. Has there been a thread more worthy of derailing than this one? :)
