Man, that butt sleeve had to take a ton of time to do and it looks really sharp.
 
I really like the turquiose cue... It's minimal and unique application(ringwork) makes this cue stand out to me more than the fancier segmented cue. Both are fantastic examples, but I keep going back to look at it for some reason...

franko, Joel does amazing work doesn't he.........the blue one is the first 8 point cue Joel ever made. The segmented handle is the second 8 pointer. I believe there is one other around somewhere.......
 
There sure has been a run of super nice Herceks on here lately. These two 8 pointers fit right in with the best of the best.

Wow the segmented cue is very nice. Joel does some amazing work in the butt of that cue. I would be scared to know what those 2 cues cost knowing that you said those are either the only 2 or 2 of 3 eight points that he has made in his long career.
