As some of you saw I have one in blue and one in orange so I figured I would do one with green also. Enjoy.
I love Balabushka's and cues that pay tribute to George. I like how you incorporate design elements without making an exact copy. New school meets old school.
Yes I am very fond of the big pin and phenolic joint for playability, not a fan of stainless if I am going to play with it and I believe that is all that was used on Bushkas. I also really like birdseye for the forearm and know George used pure straight grain maple on all of his that I know of. Thanks for the compliment.
George used Ivory joints on occasion as well. Very nice cue btw.
Very nice, a true attention getter. I could be wrong but I think it was Harvey Martin that did the Ivory Joints but only a handful of cues with points
i saw the pics of the blue and orange ones and thought they were darn nice looking cues.
this green one really does it for me, i'll take it
Thanks. I tried to look for ivory jointed cues by George but could not find any through a search of the Cue Gallery, must be pretty rare.
Here is a look at one that was for sale on some site a while back.. May have been the SusieQ site or something... Can't remember...
