What can I say about this cue other than WOW!!!! Absolutely beautiful work. Was a little worried that it wouldnt play good as it is pretty rare to find a cue this beautiful that plays beautifully too. But, it plays better than it looks. Was even skeptical when I saw the 3/8x10 pin as I have never hit with one that I liked. This cue hits em real crisp. Great feel. Incredible balance. I just cant say enough about this cue. I cant believe anyone would ever let this cue go. To be totally honest, my only concern with this cue is whether or not it is too nice for me? People who know me, know that I am a lover of plainer 4 pointers with veneers. Never been a fan of 6 or 8 pointers. But again, this cue, as soon as I saw it, love at first sight. Took some quick pics this afternoon up at the hall. This is truly the best playing cue that I have ever owned. Tim. Mike. Yall sure knew how to make them. And Larry, thanks for the cue. I couldnt be happier. And Alton, caps are awesome. They really finish the cue off beautifully. I dont think I have used the word beautiful this much in one description, but that is what comes to mind. I hope you enjoy the pics.

And yes, all white is ivory. Even the caps.

Glad you like it and are going to use it Dave, im sure its in good hands. Be careful saying its one of the biggest (although it is), you may get an email saying you are false advertising it.....LMAO, like I did from someone who needs to mind his own business.

This is an absolutely awesome TS/MC cue and congratulations David on owning this great cue. I've owned a number of their cues over the years and I wish I still owned each one of the cues (that somehow I let slip through my fingers) built by these two great people who built cues. There's no doubt that it plays as good as it looks.

Thanks for the comments guys. Gonna put some new tips on it and it will be complete. I haven't been excited about a cue since Mike made the wrap less cue for me. This cue has found a new home.

Two others..

Dave,
I think your's is the most fancy Ivory Cue from the TS Shop..
There are two other TS MONSTERS I've seen..
Both have Ivory Handles..
One was posted by Ralph "The Hit Man" Capone from the TS Shop..
I could not find the other Segemented Ivory Handle Cue photo..
Still, you can be proud to be playing/owning that cue..
I would be....

Thanks for posting....
Alton

Nice scruggs Dave

Nice Scruggs Dave,,

I know for a fact, that this cue is "one of the" biggest Scruggs made.
Rare due to its knifed in, ivory, as well as veneered 6points on top of the ivory butt sleeve etc many reasons that this cue is as rare as it is doesn't matter what the same 1or2 wanna be's will tell you , what I know is the truth

what a beauty
i had several fancy scruggs
and i can't say that this isn't the best of the batch

i hope you keep it,it seems too nice to sell

The last Ivory handle Scruggs Cue.

Here was the last one when it was offered to me. After the heart attack Timi was toying with building one or two yearly. This Cue was sold for 25K.
Mike often said there were alot of know it alls out there that didn't have any Clue as to what truely came out of their shop.
Although most of the biggest Cues were built before 2006 Timi and Mike did build some Giant Cues. But what do I know.

That seg ivory handle is not as nice as those 6 large kniffed in ivory points. 25K ???? dam Dave yours should be at leaste 30K then.

It is a nice cue Nick. But if someone paid 25k for it, they have more money than sense. Take away the handle and you have a moderate sized box cue. I would say 4800-5300. And I know the handle doesn't add 20,000. So, unless you show me another cue that is bigger, this one isn't bigger than mine. Regardless of what someone paid for it.

Beautiful scruggs...but that is no where as intricate as the cue at the top of this thread. I'm afraid you over payed my friend. I would be stunned if you could find someone to shell out 25k for your cue.
