This is my first post and im trying to learn how to use this site. Everyone seems friendly on here but i hope you guys have patience with NOOBS...lol. My name is Will i love to play 9 ball i play in the APA (i know some people on here are not fans of) but it seems to be the "popular" league that everyone plays in. well gotta go just wanted to do my first post and hey who knows maybe i can play some of you in the future if you are in the south Florida area. Have fun and keep shooting!:p

Welcome Will! I think you'll like it here I read here every day. I don't post much becuase most of what I have need to ask has been covered or is currently being talked about. Don't worry about being a noob, I still am in a lot things.

As the days go by, you get more bitter about the shirt that never was. I gotta say, I'm with you. Even if it's a crappy old shirt two sizes too small that says "Hard Rock Cafe: Tuscaloosa" on it, I want a shirt.

I guess I'll settle for the AZB patch I have coming (eventually) for my club membership.
 
i will welcome will and i will extend any help i can to will willingly!!! like everybody said, just ask!!! a lot of friendly people here! its a great forum, so great, my productivity at work dropped 50% since i joined!!! LOL!!!

Tell me about it, 9Ball. Even "Two Tooth" Sally (may she rest in peace) gave out T-Shirts when she celebrated her thousanth customer.
It was my Uncle Homer Steamer who got Sally's shirt, by-the-way. They called him "Homey" for short, because he rarely left the house unless it was to visit Sally.
I never could figure that one out either. "Homey" has the same number of letters as Homer.
Anyway, what was I talking about?
 
First, let me say I am deeply saddened at the news two-tooth Sally has passed. I knew her since she was three. Three-tooth Sally, that is...

Welcome to AZ. I lived just above Homestead for about 9 years until I escaped! :p You never can tell when I'll be down there visiting old friends, so we may have a chance to play some. Bone up on one-pocket though, I don't play 9-ball anymore. :D

How ya doin' Will? Thanks for joining us. A heads up for you - if you have a question about something, click on the "Main Forum" and go to "Search This Forum" on the tool bar. Type in the key words for your search, for example "tip maintenance" or "cue repair in Florida" and see what pops up. That way you may find the answer you are looking for by yourself.

There are many other useful tools on these forums that you will discover along the way. Enjoy!
