Good looking cue Doug, that single core throughout the entire cue provides one hell of a solid hit. I played a little with one that Dan made from a 40 year old house cue for the core. Glad to see you are coming to KC.

Don:

That is where the idea come from. I am also already moved to Olathe. Moved in yesterday. Oh yea, where was you when we needed help moving all the machines???? LOL Talk to you soon!!!

Nice work! The linen is nice, but...I can't help but think this would be a killer cue with a black lizard wrap. However, it would not be selling at such a good price if it had leather...

People actually live in Olathe? You must work for Tyson...LOL.

That's a way nice cue.

What is a laminate dowel?

Is the forearm spliced, andf if so, by whom?

Thanks

Kevin

A laminate dowel is where they cut the wood up re-glue it back together. Like Predator does with there shafts. Yes I built the forearm here in my shop! I built it like a short spice. Then I cored and threaded it along with the rest of the butt end! I build every short spiced forearm my self. I DO NOT buy them! I do buy full spice blanks and convert them. But I let the customer know that up front!

Thanks for looking! If you have any questions give me a call!

Sounds like a lot of work goes in your cues. Good luck in your new location.

Thanks

Kevin

I have personally hit a few balls with this cue and it hits as good as anything I have played with. You will not be disappointed in how this cue plays!

Very cool, Doug. I always wanted to try that but never invested in the machinery & technology to do it. Undoubtedly it's solid & sound as can be.

fully cored and threaded

I got a chance to see this one in pre-finish stage just after assembly, and I must say after seeing it in person last night, I can attest to the quality and detail of Doug's work. Simply magnificent. There's new Sheriff in town at Shooters, and the new core design hits schweeeet.

Nice..This is the nearly completed cue u showed me when I came down 2 pick mine up right? So you got your patent and all? Very sweet! Are you gonna keep them all pretty much a player styled design, or are some gonna get "Gussied up" with veneers/inlays? I really loved the cue you made for the guy coming back from deployment from mid-east military...

Sorry, I was busy snapping someone off in one pocket on the north side and you can also blame Dan he tipped me off that there might be hard work so I steered clear of Shooter's:wink::wink:

Thanks everyone for the kind words!
Don:
That figures your always snapping someone off! LOL

See you soon!

DOUG

nice cue

Did you thread the core into the forearm? Nice cue hope to see you at one of the Olathe tournaments I would like to try one of the cues.
