My new tooled case from China!

Case finally arrived and it looks bloody amazing! Workmanship is Superb!
Took some pictures and I've added about 50 pictures on the first page.

John, you up for a challenge? You're working on my next case anyway so i'm building a stage for you now for that showdown

Well, the bar has been raised definitely. Let's see if I can top it for you. Nothing like a customer who appreciates fine work like you pushing his case makers to top each other.

I really do love so much about this case and their work in general. This company has really blossomed into one of the top five case makers in the world in my opinion. While they borrow liberally from other styles they have achieved blending those styles into their own to create amazing examples of the leathercrafter's art.

Also, great pix. Really shows the quality and detail in depth. Case lovers ought to be tripping over themselves to get on Armour's list IMO.

One word... Clean!

Everything is very crisp on the case. Great piece!

Now I can't want to see what John will come up with.

Cheers

Jive I could look at those pictures for ever , Beautiful case , outstanding workmanship . I want one but way out of my reach . Congrats , Jim:dance:

John, you know what I like and I know what you're capable of so I'm really excited to see that case. Just remember something... The Empire State building was.......... :)

Also if you've noticed the case maker actually made the stitch holes much smaller. I didn't know he was going to do that until he contacted me a while back and said he came on AZ to check out my last thread about his cases and saw some remarks about it (wife translated for him) and he took a mental note.

Am glad I manage to do some justice with them pictures too. :)

Good night that is fine. I'm relatively new on AZ but I had to comment - Has to be the nicest case I have seen. Wow.....

This is a beautiful and perfect TOP DOWN image of the inside of a case for you aspiring case photographers out there.

Also, for those that haven't already made the connection, RedSheep/Armor is also YangandBonnie on here. They posted in the Case Review section a while ago. My suggestion for anyone who wants a case is to find a friend who speaks Chinese and let them help you order.......perhaps someone on this forum......like maybe um, Jive :-)

Well if you can be sure to talk to them about that other detail I mentioned. It's way more important than the size of the stitch holes.

Thanks for the kind words John, honestly a decent camera with good lighting is all that's required.
Well when I get The Case from you I'll put in as much effort in doing justice to your case :)

Actually Yang's (Red Sheep/Armor owner) wife is an English teacher so English should be fine for them.

what a great case!!

my those Chinese are an industrious folk, now if they can only bring the same level of craftsmanship to Walmart.....:grin-square:

thefonz<== has nothing against China or Walmart, the quality of Walmart goods are exceptional considering what you pay for them.

That sure is a beautiful case Jive, I would be very proud to own something like that! You already know I love the tooling but I've got to tell you that stitching is just fantastic. Congrats and enjoy it!

Haha not gonna say it's impossible since history has proven otherwise about mass produced quality goods. Henry Ford has proven that in the past, so did Apple with the iPhone.... so i just keep my fingers crossed for all of us.

Importantly if there comes a day where the demand for such cases really is there then i'm sure an enterprising fellow will come around to make these beauties cheap, until then i'll just have to work my butt off to fund this "problem" of mine...

Thanks Rusty, coming from you that's a pretty big deal. Well i'm still patiently waiting for my spot with you to come up, i'm sure by then we'll have another rockstar :)

Jive are you going to spill the beans on how to order one of these cases & what this case cost?
