its a full size medalist i like it better than gold crowns the pockets are cut a little straighter and play a little tighterberlowmj said:Beautiful room!!! What kind of table?
Looks like a Gold Crown to me. The pockets look fairly tight, maybe shimmed or just cut tight.berlowmj said:Beautiful room!!! What kind of table?
its a medalist by brunswick the pockets are tighter with a straighter cut im getting a single shim installed to make it a little tighter cause im really trying to work hard on my game and i dont want the table to be to easy:grin:JDB said:Looks like a Gold Crown to me. Still, this table looks like a Gold Crown. I just looked up a Medalist on the Brunswick site and this is what is points to:

I couldn't find another reference to a Medalist.

i actually put this table together the slate frame is really sturdy the rest seems pretty sturdy to me, the bigest differance i see is the legs are solid as opposed to having the arch with the adjustable feet, mine has no adjustment feet so you have to put shims under it to get it perfectly level, i really like this table better than the gold crowns, in my opinion i think they look way nicer, also the pockets are cut straighter than the gold crowns they are similar to the diamond pockets, im not sure if they were made that way or if someone had them done that way but there are no shims , not yet ,two balls sit in the pockets but wont fall in if you understand what i mean its not like a quade tablebut its pretty tight and plays a little tough, but it seems most people have not heard of the Medalist before, i couldnt be happier with it, i really like they way this table looks the gold crowns are nice but they look kinda comercial to me ,i guess thats why i like the medalist over the gold grown it plays the same as the gold crown but has a less comercial look to me, but thanks again for all the posative commentsjay helfert said:The telltale sign that it is a Medalist is the side rail is one piece. Different legs too. You can't see it but the frame is also different. These were the tables below the Gold Crowns for many years. The discount table for pool rooms if you will. There are many of them spread across America. An excellent table, but not quite as sturdy as a Gold Crown.
thank you sirbigshooter said:Sweet room you got there, very nice.
