the only thing of mine that was deleted referred to activities that are rumored on a certain player. Granted they should not have been made since they can not be confirmed. Even though it is obvious.

You're not alone Linda!

It's a shame that merely contemplating a future that is not 100% BAD requires legthy justification these days here.

How did you become so close to so many hidden facts?

Life is interesting.......

That is for me to know, and you to wonder......what I know will be revealed more very soon...........

So, let me get this straight. If the IPT folds, the "future" is "100% BAD"?

I guess, "Life is intresting"! For some, more than others.

Linda, I do believe myself (atleast hope so much) that the IPT will continue the coming years, in some kind of form.

I think that the IPT have realized that it's to expensive to run it as they do, and they are now working with a new way to run it for the coming years. However, they will have major problems convincing poolplayers who have qualified for the Tour Card Qualifier that the 2007-season maybe won't be worth 100 000 $ after all.

But, if they for example says to the players that it's worth 30 000 $ or nothing, I bet that 100 % of the players will forgive it and says that it's better with the IPT in some kind of form, or not at all.

However, there is 2 important things that needs to be done:

1. RENO must be paid
2. HO Interactive must officially confirm a deal with the IPT

When these 2 are ok I will once again start to encourage people to participate in qualifiers. Till then I consider myself not a naysayer or a dreamer, but a sceptical who really wants the IPT to continue and succeed....

And, as I have told Deno, if they put up the match Jasmin Ouschan - Earl Strickland on demand I will sign up for the IPT Membership Club once again ;)

PM me with your email address and maybe I can email it to you!

the IPT does have some great ideals about big money and big time pool,

but the person managing the IPT has the background similar to an executive caught of misconduct.

did he sell people on the idea of natural cures yes, did he believe any of his cures would work, questionable.

Did any of his suggestions have some grounding yes. Would his arguments stand against people who have dedicated their life to science and proven and tested it time and time again?

I think the answer is no.

What if he is buying more time to pay us off? What I can't figure out is if he really is going to claim bankruptcy right now, then why would he have paid off the European players from the VEGAS tournament last week, hundreds of thousands of dollars? Why wouldn't he just run off with that money too? Other than a threat to his well-being (I would imagine there are more threats coming from the Reno tournament), I just don't see how that would benefit him at all.

Spell check on AISLE five, please! ;)

I wouldn't think there would be a need to file bankruptcy until players actually filed for their lost winnings. If only a few do that he can pay them off, or make a deal for partial payment, and get their silence as part of the deal.

If a lot of players come after him then he will file for bankruptcy immediately.

Of course Eydie may find out that he vacated his offices tonight. Since he is on a month to month lease.

I think you are being proven correct!

Well, 2-4 have come true. But #1 is the lynchpin for everything else, so hopefully, that will come true as well.

Just an aside to the rest of the forum...assuming the whole $3M fund comes in at different times with partial funding, do you think it would do the IPT more good to pay all us 'cheapies' off first and get the most bang for the buck, as far as # of players affected, or pay the top 5-6 first and get those huge burdens paid off? (And the Filipino Mafia reassured!)

lol, what that you predicted has actually came true? All they have done is stalled and stalled and stalled. Everything that I predicted 3 months ago is coming to fruition. I still cannot believe that some of you are that naive, to think that KT is not telling bold face lies to everyone. There is NO supposed "Ho" deal. That was all a cover story to take some of the heat off of KT for not paying for Reno. The IPT will fold up tents for good within the next few months after it has finalized bankruptcy to insure that KT doesn't take a bath personally. In the mean time, he has bought more time with the rescheduling of these events and more lies concerning the payments. Reality check on isle five please!

Assuming the RENO payout is in stages I think there will be negotiations between K*&T and the big earners. K*&T would want them to settle for the smallest % of the amount their owed. The players that earned less would receive greater % of what their owed.

I still think this weeks payout ( if it isn't cancelled/postponed:( ) will be between 15 and 30% of what K*&T owes the players from RENO.

If this is the way it plays out the only people that will know how much was paid will be IPT MGMT.

Isn't this day 8 of the 7 to 10 day player notification and check issuance window?

Sincerly Good Luck:)

I was referring to that ISLE you've been on for the last few weeks with regards to the IPT.

I think that the IPT has got maybe 15-20 % of the owed amount in from qualifiers after Reno, so if they pay out anything this week it could be the payment from qualifiers for the Tour Card...
