Hello All,


I had a fantastic time over the weekend. I was able to acquire a beautiful John Showman. The Showman package also included a Ron Thomas elephant hide with an ivory disk engraved by John. In addition, Murray Tucker delivered my cue. It was my first delivery direct from a cuemaker at the SBE and I couldn't be happier. It is Brazilian Rosewood into BEM.

These are the first pics I took in the shade. I'd love to hear some feedback. My plan is to also take some pics in the sunlight but I am very excited to share my newest items.

These cues are stunners in person.....i am keeping my big pickup a secret
 
chris, those are two great cues, congrats. you are definitely making a nice collection of cues. i wish i could have made it this year and hung around with you guys again. i am definitely going to kenny's show and i hope to see you there.

Big Showman

Chris that cue is so sweet, just love it! It found a real good home. The Tucker is nice also, but that Big Showman is perfect.
Little Kenny hooked you up, he is a good guy for sure. Love the case too, keeping it safe.
Happy for you pal, enjoy it. Have to come over and play some with our new pick ups :)

Beautiful cues!

The Showman is exactly what I have on order from him minus the inlays. I spoke to Marylane a few weeks ago and I'm hopeful to get it later this year. (fingers crossed)

The Veneers in both cues are a great color scheme ! If that Showman didn't have any Inlays I would be coming after that HARD from you Chris, LOL ! Great Cues buddy.

Congrats to you Chris, They are indeed very nice cues....I had the Showman in my hand, It is just perfect my friend. I just like Mickey, I am keeping mine secret....Lol....I only got three......:joyful::joyful::joyful:

Nicest Hoppe Ever!!

Okay, the Tucker just made me check my laundry...that's the most elegant Hoppe I've ever seen, the points, butt sleeve, cortland style (or is it real?) wrap, all scream for better lit photography!!! There's some gorgeous wood that's not showing well in your photos........:)

Congrats on the pickup and the new build! Nice cues! Both have such clean looking veneer work and are also two of my favorite veneer combos. I love the grain on the shafts for the Tucker hoppe and who would not like that beautiful Brazilian rosewood. Those Tucker shafts are what I call playing shafts!

Are those 1/2" or 3/4" ferrules? What material are those made of? Was that done for lower deflection or a specific feel or sound you wanted?

Absolutely beautiful...they are both amazing cues. Great pick up, congrats and thank you for sharing these hotties with us. :thumbup:

Verrrry nice.

Great cues my friend. Both Hoppe style also. If the Showman was a piloted ivory joint, I would be after you hard,lol. Enjoy the cues, you deserve them. Thank you for sharing.

Great to hang out with you at the SBE Chris, and congrats on two special cues. The Brazilian in the TCW is sensational.
