Hey Smokey how far are you from the strip?I have a friend playing the WSOP next month and I might get staked,if not I will hit the tables but it would be nice to meet you,your my type of people brother,its a rarity these days.

Haha,sounds good Miles,I will be there sometime next month I am pretty sure and hopefully playing the WSOP so I can win a million or a few and then I can sponsor a $50k added tourney once a year! :D

I really dont know you that well but I came to like you over the last few days seeing your posts. The thing is, is nobody here is trying to destroy Kevin. We all just want Kevin to keep his word and make things right with Cincy and several other customers he has lied to. Im sure that if he starts to keep his word, the word will spread there and people will start ordering cues from him again. That was an honorable thing offering your cue to Cincy as a gift for Kevins F-up. I dont know if Cincy will take it but Im pretty sure he wont, Because this whole thread is really not about a cue, it is about having honesty, integrity, and honor. Which in my eyes right now, Kevin has none.

To you Kevin, I dont know what family problems you are going through or any other problems. The thing is, is selling cues is how you put food on the table for your family man. Pool is a small community. You screw over people, just some people, and word spreads quick man. Just keep in contact with your customers, and tell them the truth, about what is going on, and im pretty sure another one of these threads will not be started again.

Out of the numerous posters in this thread that are bashing KV; how many of you have actually done business with KV and how many are just blowing up to hear themselves do it?
And when it comes to the comments about him blowing off his work to do other things such as "I saw him at a tourney last Sunday". How many of you are posting these messages from your work computer when you could be doing other stuff for your company?

well gator,
i was posting from my home when not at work since you were wondering, I have this whole week off work, so i was reading up on posts here on az, lots of good stuff.
i have dealt with varney a few times, and none of it went well, i live in the same area he does, he has burned alot of bridges here, and i give anyone a chance so i can know a person myself. my first tranasaction left a sour taste in my mouth, i do not care to discuss details but if you pm me i will tell you and offer a nice pic to go with it. second strike was when i tried to sell one of his cues used on az and he blasted me on the board and by pm demanding i take the cue off but he would not buy it or take it in as a partial trade, again a bully tactic if you ask me. 3rd strike was when i had read where he owed numerous cues, sent out message of problems and how he is behind and working on cues, still he is playing in the small weekly local tournaments and trying to sell cues, so he is selling or really trying to since nobody bought it that night, selling cues he owes other or in my oppinion not seriously trying to "catch up" i was VERY upset that he even tried to sell me a cue, and the same night i heard the same tall tells of doing work for pros, even heard about how he makes a predator shaft hit top notch, yeah predator shafts need SOOOOOO much work ( sarcasm ) to make them right right?

anyways i much rather talk about other things, i just had enough of this guy.

You have to give him credit, he is a pretty good salesman. I forgot about him "racing" up predator shafts. I still cant believe people would pay 250 dollars for a low deflection shaft just to send it to him to remove all the low deflection features.

i had a cue on order from KV.
 
as did I. I also sent into him a shaft for routine repair work that he quoted a 2-3 day turnaround time, but it took a month.
