I think I am going to start using those rep buttons :) . I am a new member, and until today I had never really heard any "BAD" things about Kevin Varney. I am actually glad I found this post as I am in the market for a custom cue and I now know to stay away from KV. Thanks Cincy! And for anyone who has an issue with threads like this, I just want to quote the late George Carlin.

Which essentially means in this instance, you didn't have to click on the link to this thread if you don't approve. And I am sure the two cents you so thoughtfully provided were 2 cents shy of anything remotely productive.

And YES the Haley will be here for SURE by then all though i ordered them before my retirement from pool when my daughter was born.

I have decided to play at least a little with that Varney to give it an honest review because i heard good things about the hit, but my patience has worn thin:angry:

What's brutal about a customer posting their experience in a fair and accurate manner, after a "business" took 100% cash up front, does not offer any refund, does not ship the product, does not communicate, cannot be reached via phone or e-mail, promises on 8 separate occasions to ship the item but doesn't? Not to mention, doing that to multiple customers, and several other slimey business practices I didn't even mention in that list.

How bad does a business have to treat a customer before you think it's fair to start a thread about it on AZ? I'm certainly glad to hear the experiences of others.

If your scenario happened, and your customer wrote a thread, presumably you'd explain your side in the thread and most people would be satisfied. Especially if it wasn't happening time and time again.

In this case, KV doesn't even post in the thread, except as imposters who support him(self).

I mean...I'd be pissed the F off too if I sent that douchebag any amount of money, and was still getting jerked around on the status of my order. However...if there was an independant thread for each and every Varney customer that got shafted...it would need it's own section of the forum. Maybe they can create a sticky for this...so everyone with issues can post to the same thread. All I'm saying...is it's entirely unnecessary, and unproductive...to have a dozen threads devoted to the exact same subject...especially when the thought you're trying to convey can be accurately expressed on any of those previously generated threads. That's all. I DID read the whole thread as well. Calling me a moron is totally unncessary. I've read plenty of things you've stated on the forum that I didn't agree with...and I never EVER went out of my way to call you a name like that.

Unfortunately for Mr. Varney, I think the list of mad customers is going to continue to get smaller and smaller and we will ultimately see this pass. If I had been through what many of these people have been through I would be posting myself. I bought a cue from Kevin last year and ordered it after the original poster of this thread, received the cue about two months after the promised date, sold the cue here, it was a little too stiff for my taste, then it was purchased and resold and this guy is still waiting for the cue he ordered six months before the one I bought. I feel his pain, I once had a cue that took two years beyond the original delivery date but luckily it went up in value about four times in that period so I was able to make several K on the cue when I sold it:wink: :wink:

Yea and the way things seem to be going he could probably get a new southwest before his varney shows up.:yikes:

Forgive me, but even with gas prices, I would go down on a roadtrip...ain't that far from Cincy to NC...good grief.

Face to face works sooooooo much better than whining on AZ people.

Sure i'll drop out of school, leave my 11 week daughter, have my lawyer wife take a few days off herself and make the 10 hour drive or better to NC to get my unfinished cue... good idea. OORRRRRRRRRRRRRR he could honor his commitments and send my my mfing cue like i paid for and he can now send me my money back as well. :angry:


I see you have an I trader and have bought and sold cues here i presume well i hope no one evers stiffs you or sends a cue not described as it was to you because the second you post about it,, i will be the FIRST one there to say "hey just drive to the phillipines and get you money no big deal good grief"

This has nothing to do with confrontation of any type, but it has everything to do with making certain that this is burn't into cyber Space so that the bad deals stop, and no else gets screwed!!!!!
