Sure sounds like a fun time. It's great sharing your cues with friend who respect them. The Gus definitely is the nutz. I would love to own another Gus.

If you guys would of gone to Paces steak house in Happauge that would of really topped it off.

I just happened to have gone about a week ago. Hadnt been there for about 8 years. I remembered it as being better, maybe they just had an off day

That is a NASTY collection of black boars! I think you've got the most impressive cue collection I've ever seen.
 
That Gus remains my favorite Szamboti ive seen posted on AZB. Just love it~!

I had a few people as about the joint on your cue. I even had one customer say they didn't want a metal ring glued to the face of their Ivory joint. I chuckled and let them know it's not a ring, it's part of the SS joint.
The joint is SS with the Ivory and deco ring sleeved over the top. The extra Ivory around the pin makes it look like a solid Ivory joint but it's not.

Scott thanks for straigtening that out.......Since first trying it out, I have been playing with this cue every time I play. I am loving it more and more

That makes my day.

A little back heavy but that can be expected with the Ivory sleeve.
