A Friend And I Are Opening A Pool Hall In Northeast Pennsylvania. We're Having Trouble Coming Up With A Creative Original Name. Any Help Or Suggestions Would Be Appreciated.

I think the name of the pool hall should resemble the "vibe" of the place..
Tell us a little about it, and maybe we can come up with something?
How many tables? (type of tables as well)
Will you be serving liquor? Beer only? No alcohol?
Age limitations? All ages (family establishment) 18 n up / 21 n up?
Is it going to be like the old school pool halls, kind of dark with casino carpet, smokey pool room? Or like some of the newer places that are lit up like a light store with lighter colors? Etc.. Etc..
Incidentally I like the name "The Dead Rail."
There was a tiny pool hall here in north county that went outta biz that I'm sure nobodies ever heard of that used to be called "Green Felt Downs" if you like something like that..

Being 3 minutes from the college I think I'd definately use something about "higher learning" "educated" or "drop out" something that has school type lingo in it..
No booze would be a tough sell for me though if I was a college kid..
Maybe something like "Study Hall Billiards" I don't like that particular name, but you might be able to come up with somethign from it? I dunno..

NOT REALLY TRYING TO JUST TARGET THE COLLEGE KIDS, BUT IT'S CLOSE ENOUGH WHERE THE STUDENTS WILL DEFINATELY BE PART OF THE CUSTOMER BASE.
