This is what I was told:
"I bought the cue from a professional cue maker a long time ago in Las Vegas. He used to work for a major cue stick company and then he decided to make cue sticks on his own."

He said there wasn't any identifying markings and doesn't remember what company he worked for or what he makes now.

Says its stained birdseye with ebony points and all else if ivory.

What do you guys think it is? Wants $300 for it.

Look under the bumper for a name. Definitely appears to be worth more than $300. I don't think this is a Taiwan cue. It doesn't look that old though.

Have never seen a pin like that before. I am sure with all the experts on here somebody should know.......................mike

pass

That cue doesn't look old enough to be bought a long time ago...
Looks like an import to me too, I'd pass. For the 300 you can do better, either production or entry level custom maker. Just my thoughts.

Dude, I smell rice cookin!!!! I also think the cue cue have been made by Lucasi or another Asian maker. The cues rings, the inlays, the pin, and I have never seen a metal pilot like the one pictured in the shaft except on Asian cues.

Remove the cue bumper and take a photo of the weight bolt and inside the cues butt, in addition post some additonal photo's of the cues forearm.

The pin looks like a Fury Speed Lock Joint. Look at here
Personally, I think it's a Fury... some have the same ringwork and I only have seen that pin on Fury cues before.

good call, bill ! it's a Fury and it ain't old. looks like the seller is yanking somebody's crank ! :(

I must be mis-reading something; he doesn't remember what company he worked for? Say what?

If that's what he's saying I'd want somebody to steer me away from him real quick and real thorough.

Yeah I didn't feel like it was an older cue myself. Its on Craigslist Seattle if you want to check it out 1pR. If it was anything worth anything I'd pick it up.

Thanks guys!
