Ok so I have ob sneaky with ob classic shaft also have predator sneaky with 314-2 shaft been kinda shooting with both can't pick witch one too keep as my player? I feel as they hit about the same maybe just me has anyone tried the two or atleast the shafts? What were ur views and what one did u pick? I'm driven my self nuts I know its about what I like but if u had the two and had too pick one what would it be and why? I noticed that the ob shaft ggets lil sticky after while is there way too fix that? Idk any thoughts or anything would be great thanks guys what best shaft of the two?

Ignore all advice.
Pick one.
Sell one.
Forget about it.

Good advice. KIS....soToSpeak....you have to start Somewhere.
Or you could shelf the shaft for a year, play with the other, then switch. You'll notice the difference right away or not, depends on your skill level. In the meantime tell your friends you have a shaft for sale. In a year someone may pay what you want. There are NO simple answers in Life. If you think, ''if I do this Everything is perfect''............better start looking in the mirror for answers.

Shoot, from the title of the thread I thought I had the perfect solution. I was going to lend you my wife for a week. If anyone could help you go crazy, she would. :yeah:

I think I'm crazy. When I put my hand in my pocket I feel nuts..
Play with the one you like. Both are excellent.

Kind of funny that only the OB shaft gets sticky....

Yea I'm not sure why it maybe that I play with it lil more but I do was my hands everytime beforre I shoot not sure why? The predator seems too have that gloss finish idk just have probs picking one

The OB has a neat looking ferrule - But then again the Predator has a cat on it and I like cats.

Sell both and buy a Dominiak LD shaft and let me know how they play so I can decide if I want one.

Keep em both and have fun. I use a 314 and a Z on my Schons exclusively, although the stock Schon shafts are the shiznit anyway.

I don't care for the OB on the Schons. But the OB lends itself well to other cues I use.

That is quite a dilemma you have to deal with .

Why not make it a shoot out. X number of long straight-ins, x number of cut shots, draw, follow, english etc etc. Loser skips town.

Let us know how it goes. My money is on the cat.

It almost sounds like the shaft may still have some of the original lacquer/sealant on it when it was made. Ever try and play with a New wooden house cue with a clear coat of lacquer still on it? If ya break with it, you'll actually give your hand a rug burn so to speak, grabs the hell out of your skin especially if you sweat or are always playing in humid conditions.

The important thing is, after you sell one... as soon as you miss a ball, complain the old stick would have made it, and convince yourself you made a terrible mistake selling it. :)

Shootout is required in this situation!

Give them each a week or so of running through specific drills so you can have actual numbers to go by. Now, my money is on the OB. ;)

The OB is for girls. OB stands for Obstetrician, fyi. :D

Just kidding peeps. Carry on.
