Need help identifying an old cue

Hey guys, I found this very old cue butt at my buddy's place last week and asked him where he had gotten it and if I could take it with me to check out since he's not much of a pool person. He said he got it along with the table (Fisher), sticks, accessories, etc. from his sister. Any help and information would be great.

Alright so say your right, it's worthless. How about I add a 3/8-11 pin, brand new shaft and refinish it? I just want to be sure before I touch it.

If you replace the pin or joint, build a shaft, and refinish the cue, the you will have a
shiny Taiwan import with a 3/8-11 pin and a new shaft.

It's not worth the hassle, but what the heck

It would then be worth $3 - give or take.

if you are seriously considering changing the pin and such, you won't be in danger of devaluing this cue.

the guys before me have given you honest assessments.

I like it! I would refinish it and put a bridge head on it....then tell people you use $1500 cues for a bridge, and ask them if they want to play a little?

G. :)

Call me crazy but even if it is a cheapo import I like the looks of it. If it rolls straight I'd "modernize" the joint, get it refinished and take it to the pool hall.

why invest in a refinish and joint change on a cheap import cue that has such poorly done inlays and is an overall poor quality build?

for the same money you could get a good quality used schon, pechauer, or similar that will def play better.

imo

Cues

Replace everything the butt cap
It must be the only surviving one out of 3 million of them made

These cues where junk back them, the glue didn't hold together when it was made.
You are going to put a ton of work into a cue the hasn't finished falling apart :(

Gerry, do you play league? Any chance your last name begins with a K?
