I will have tweaked the first few chapters in a pool related fiction novel I'm in the middle of. It's about a female champion pool player (Star Hart) that got tired of the BS rules and not making any decent money on the tour. She grew up on Long Island, NY with step parents after her real parents died in a car crash. Her stepfather taught her how to play pool and hustle pool, as he was a road player in his younger days. But also he taught her how to shoot all kinds of guns and survive on the street and in the wild.
She opens a detective agency and met a very good female pool player that just arrived from the Philippines, and has remarkable combat training and is a master at martial arts. The two become friends and get on the wrong side of the mob. They have to kill to survive.
I'm looking for six Az Members to read the first few chapters and give me feedback of what they think of it. I have thick skin as far as my writing goes…so please don't hold back on what you think. The worst thing to do to a writer IMO is to say something is good if they feel it's not.
