My wife has been on me to retile and surface our backyard pool,i have been reluctant to spend the $14000 to do all the work

I don't even like swimming and I have been waiting years for the Szamboti
so I told her Ok if someone offers the $14000
My cue is fancy and probably the last one I ever get
So I am on a spot

Just joking, i don't have a budget for a cue like that.
In anycase i'd still love to see the cue. So definitely looking forward.
Tell your wife you can only swim when the weather's good, and it's redundant in winter. Pool on the other hand can be played all year round!
Also if you can swim really well you can't go to a public pool and hustle someone for a lap or two....but if you play well you can always go on the road and win somemore for that swimming pool! In another words, the cue's an investment!
If all else fails just blame her for not being clear about spending 14k on pool. You did just spend 14k on pool equipment right?

In my case ,my wife is really not forcing the sale
she just mentioned it in passing
She really seldom ask for anything,but that is why I enjoy pleasing her
She has already allowed me more than enough freedom to play pool
years ago Verl Horn used to take me out to play and it would be a month before we got back from Vegas ans LA
It helped that with Verl,we returned with a tidy profit and stories to last a lifetime

Though its a functional piece of art that I would love to see like everyone else, its a material thing, the wifes love is more than that. Besides next time you get in trouble you tell her how you gave up your BarrySz for her, I like having a hole card.
