This beautiful Bobby Hunter Box Cue is brand new, straight from Mr. Hunter himself.

Mr. Hunter's cues are known for their superb playability and amazingly solid feel (as subjective as that may sound, it seems to be the consensus), and this one of a kind cue is no exception. Whether you're a box cue collector or just looking for something unique, this cue will surely draw some attention.

I have seen this cue in person, and put it together. It felt super nice weight, balance. As always great craftsmanship, and attention to detail. I have seen alot of Bobby Hunter cues over the years. I have owned 4, they all played great. This box design he came up with, is a monster. The inlay work is so well done, it may be my favorite design yet from Bob. Best of luck with the sale, someone is in for a real treat!!

Could be wrong but it may be tulipwood.

I'd say it's not tulipwood, but I can't really give you a solid answer of what it is. It almost looks like a honey-colored amboyna.

after receiving more information I have updated the OP with details about the woods used as well as the shaft sizes and ferrule material.
Please feel free to PM me with any questions or your offers.
Thank you.

It is definitely Afzelia Burl. I purchased it :) I love picking up pretty pieces of wood here and there. Best way of 'wooing' a cue maker boyfriend ;)
