Mristea,
You make a point of a sort but heres mine. I am not counting on my good name to sell books. I am counting on the content of my advice. Ive spent 4 and 1/2 years working with different things, taking notes on them and incorporating those things in my game. All the while holding down a full time career, running a business on the side and really loving pool and hoping to crack a code that a lot of people search a lifetime for and never succeed in. Well I believe that I have cracked that code for a person who wants to understand shot aiming in a real sense, not one that involves an aiming system akin to cte. Im not saying anything bad about cte except it doesnt flip everyones switch and it doesnt mine from the small amount of exposure Ive had to it.
How many people have you seen get involved in pool, really love it but just dont get it and eventually quit? Ive seen that more than a few times myself and that is one reason pool is what it is today. Players are the centerpiece around which pool is built but in todays society we all have several things we have to do to make ends meet. So we dont have all that time to spend on it like they did in the good old days "figuring it all out." So that is why its for sale and the truth is the material will stand on its own. It doesnt need anyones name on it to be good.
Yes I might be waiting awhile for people to start buying it but thats okay I will be here. I wrote this so people would work on their skills and have a clear path to do it on. On that path I teach you how to tweak everything you do walk up on the shot right and be able to get down in perfect delivery position. If you can do that, thats a whole lot of it right there. If you had a template to base that on "and I provide that" then you become able to know how to line up on balls thick or think and play them with english.
As far as who I am, Im definitely not worrried about that. I play tournaments when I can, I play the best players I have in my area to play, I dont mind traveling to play some events and I am definitely in love with pool. The game, the people and the stories. I love to write pool stories and their are some in the book. As far as I see things, all of what Ive done here is new to a great extent. No one I know of has done this subject the way Ive done it. This book is like a resume for me for when I retire and doing something pool for the rest of my life.
Pool has been written to death and I would have never done something similiar to whats already out there. So come with an open mind and get something you probaby havent read yet.
I wish you well and hope get yourself a book and find whatever it is you seek for your game. I did and Im just trying to pass it along.
