Here's a couple of pictures of a case I've been working on. Its my first attempt at adding some carving to a case. For a first attempt I was fairly pleased, but as usual I see few things I would do different the next time. Live and learn I guess. Let me know what you think. Rusty

I like it but I don't care for the belt/buckle latch on the lid. I want something quicker. Do they make a good looking latch like they use on backpacks that has two plastic prongs that slip into a pocket then expand and catch on each side?

A plastic latch like what is on a backpack to be put on a fancy leather cue case? Really?

Nice work but I don't like the lid, it doesn't provide any moisture protection as it completely opened from the sides.
I wouldn't put any high end cues in it.

for a first time case it is great! the cue business can always use another good case maker and from the pictures your well on your way there, i would continue on ..... very, very nice......

The top on the multi-cue case in your avatar is all this model needs to be a winner. Excellent carving, and that work is your path to success.

good eye, good call.

Thanks for the kind words guys, it means alot. Also thanks for the input on the lid, it helps to get a feel for what everyone wants. I put together a quick lid and I think it will work well. I'll put a picture of it on too. Oh I almost forgot its a 2X2.
