I have talked to Chaz the entire time Iv waited and feel that my case will be here soon. Cant wait to post pics.

Has anyone received a case recently? This struggle seems to be dying a slow death. I spoke with Chaz last week and he told me he thought he'd get mine out this week. I'd like to believe that, but my confidence is low right now. Anyone have an update?
 
working on to finish it up this week. i just made u one out of better leather so your case is going to be in the 5-600 range for the price of an ob shaft for having such a long wait.

I have been talking to him but aparenttly there is a problem with my ivory diamonds.

I would love to see my case that I made a deposit on sometime around the date: 04-10-2009. Supposed to be just a plain brown leather very simple no engraving, stamping, ivory diamonds or the like. It would be great to have a case before Christmas but I have a very pessimistic view of the situation at this point. Guess I should send some more emails, phone calls and private messages.
 
I will also call him today. Spoke with him two weeks ago. I swear it's deja vu:

Me:Hi Chaz, where's my case?
Chaz:It should be ready this week.
Me:But you told me that last week.
Chaz:I redid your case though with finer leathers.
Me:You told me that last week too.
Chaz:Hopefully I'll have it done for this week and a tracking number to you.
Me:Ok.... I'm looking forward to it.
Chaz:Yea you're definitely getting a better deal for the OB-1 Shaft and $20 you gave me. This is definitely like a $500-$600 case for what you traded me.
Me:Ok. Can't wait to get it.
Chaz:Yea, it should be done real soon.
 
Still waiting over here. I gave him a call but he didnt anwser or call me back. Im not going to change my attitude at this point but boy am I getting anxius.

Holy Crap!!! You still haven't got your case?!!! I hadn't seen this thread in a while and thought it had been resolved, and was really hoping it was atleast resolved for you bencho. Jesus, you've been hearing that line forever. Hope it gets resolved soon buddy, thats absolutely ridiculous. Theres no excuse to have that same conversation repeatedly. I'd rather hear "Its not going to be done for another 8 months" than I would "Next week" every time.
 
I just emailed him for a refund. Original payment was a practically brand new ob1 shaft and $20. I have no idea where the shaft has been nor can I verify how much it was used so I requested he paypal me $250, as that was the original price of his cases when he started advertising them; and he's been telling me that my case is now worth $500-600 after all the extra work and rework and whatnot. All I hear verbatim is that my case is almost done and I'll have a tracking number Monday morning the following week. After 8 months of waiting, my priorities have changed and my well of patience is bone dry.
 
Received a reply in 4 minutes.

Your case will be shipped by this weekend. If u want to sell it that is fine but I'm upside down on your case anyway and a new ob shaft only cost 190.

You are not getting a refund, so don't even sweat it Bencho. You and your money are being held hostage, no differtent than several other members here, except from different individuals.
 
hangemhigh- That's great to know... Do we have any active members in FL who can visit Chaz and "see how things are going?" lol

Also, PM me your price on the $cue please, I don't remember if I ever got if from you or lost it in my pm box. I'm on too many forums and things are just jumbled haha >___<
 
Probably means he spent more money on my case than he charged for it.

He said that I'd have a tracking number or refund by this Friday. Will update then.
 
I really hate this for Chaz....and I really hate this for everyone that has not recieved a case...this really sucks for everyone involved...im dealing with a cuemaker that has been giving me the" it will be done soon" line and it really sucks. So I wish the best for everyone involved
