order of case production. this is why i cant offer pics untill the later stages because the avg person doesnt know what they are looking at anyways as far as from the first step to last.

leather cut
leather tooled
leather dyed
dry
buff
leather finished with protective sealer..different options
buff again.
wrap around tube and make your markings for handle,strap,buttons,etc
punch and attatch handle and strap.
wrap around tube and line up center to mark your spots for back panel holes for rivets.
punch holes in back panel and case body leather
rivet one side
wrap leather like a tube and rivet other side...this part is time consuming since u have to stick your arm inside and pust the rivet out then put something in there to hold the rivet and then hit it....do that over 30 times and your done,
then u finish the lid
then u do the bottom
then u buff again

I don't have a case on order, so I really don't have a dog in this fight, but as a prospective customer, I have a few observations.

I doubt that Frank, FnL, Bencho, LP, MTD or anyone else told you what they would give for a case. The price and estimated date of delivery was set by the vendor...that would be you.

I served as a Contracting Officer with the government for many years. Over those years, I have had many vendors provide excuses, alibies, etc about why they could not deliver their product or service. All of their excuses were simply circumstances that they had gotten themselves into. I was not interested in their problems, and I certainly did not want their problems to become my problems. I informed all vendors that I dealt with that I did not want anything from them other than what I had paid them to deliver. I did not want to go to lunch with them, I did not want to go to the beach and stay in their condo for free, and I did not want to be their friend.

If you have a problem delivering a product, do what you need to do to rectify that situation. Hire more people, take fewer orders, make a simpler product...whatever is necessary in order to provide what you promise to provide....nothing more, and nothing less.

That is just my opinion........

very true. i dont have anyone to hire so that is not an options. i was just stating the fact that im putting out a case thats worth more than what they have paid. i know they understand this. i have rectified all situations that have come to my attention. i called bencho. i have talked to lp on numerous occasions, mtd is a great guy and has always been and im sorry that i didnt give him my new number, that is my fault. i have also talked to fnl many times so the only problem here is that people are creating an uproar on things they know nothing about. i have no problem refunding or responding to people. it is just too hard to post pics for everyone to see. its to the point where i will only send pics to the people that i do buisness with. im not posting a pic everytime i do something so other people can see whats going on when i am behind. im not here to impress other people right now. i am here to clear the air and resolve the situation. the only one complaining is troyroy who has been talking to eric and bencho who i called today actually and he has all my contact info already so really there was just no need in this to begin anyways. i know i had alot of setbacks and bad things happen this year. i try to not let it drag me down. i was in the army ive had friends die and for all i know ill get a phone call tomorrow that another one has but thats life. i knew what i was signing up for. but im not going to miss a funeral for someones case to get done a few days earlier. id rather just refund them and im sure everyone on here would do the same. but when the wrong interiors show up when i already promised a date to everyone then i have to call everyone and be the bearer of bad news again. its a bad spot to be in but its not like im ducking anyone.

i still need to get ahold of dom to get him his new strap so if hes reading this then give me or eric a call. and i also need to get frank his shoulder pad in the mail as well as his handle wraps. he also wants me to attach his lid differently.

like i said. im not running and im still working, if anyone has a problem with anything then call or email me. i would prefer a phone call because it is faster and easier.

Yep. Very wise.

Imagine running a business as a Restuarant. People place orders and the cook/chef must deliver it good and in a decent amount of time.

If one doesn't deliver on time or the product tastes very bad, most likely the customers will not eat there again.

If it was a $5 dollar hamburger hut, and the wait is long and the food is bad, then it's understandable, it's $5 bucks.

If it was a high class $500 dollar a plate restuarant, that's a different thing. People want quality and service. Does it matter if the cook/chef/or staff can't get the food out on time? or the food was not prepared correctly or was cold? Not really, as the customer of this $500 dollar a plate restuarant, there will be complaints, and the customer should care or doesn't want to know what goes behind the scenes, they just want a $500 plate with Lobster, Caviar, Sashimi, Truffles, Choice meats, and a glass of Dom Perignon or cristal champagne.

Hangemhigh, I always admire your stern attitude for justice. And Joe, your wise comments.

Anyway, why not just refund all the money back to the customers and apologize and end it.

If you don't have money, I am sure you have collected many cues/cases in the past years, give them up as collateral to Bamacues, and Bamacues will sell them on AZB and distribute the money you owe and return extras to you Chaz. Bamacues will collect a small fee for his efforts or he will do it to help out the good people of AZB.

Or I can do it. Let me know. A good Scruggs or Gina of yours will solve this whole mess. =)

Sir, do you have any proof of what you think is true? If so then please post it and we can discuss it. If not I respectfully ask you to stop addressing me by a name when you have no idea what my name is.

Mr. Barton however has helped this person to build some cases because he provided the interiors for them.

Are you the same as Mr. Justis? At this point I have only seen that he is able to just make an accusation and then unable to discuss or defend it?

Please start another thread as he did and make your claim and post your proof. It is clear that Mr. Barton has far more to lose than you do so if you are correct and I am he then it would be suicidal to challenge you to back up your assertions with proof. Unless of course you have none which Mr. Barton cannot know that, nor what leads you to believe what you do.

If you have none then you are wasting your time and energy.

I travel frequently. I use Skype. With Skype you can call to any country in the world. With Skype you can be called from any country in the world.

You will need what is called a Skype-In phone number. With this number you can forward it to up to five other numbers.

Then you will also need what is called Skype-Out credit. With this you will be able to call any normal phone line anywhere in the world for about .02cts a minute. I spend a lot of time on the phone and don't burn through $25 a month using this. If your customer has Skype then both of you can talk for free using a Skype-to-Skype call.

My entire office now uses Skype and we are almost never out of touch.

If I could criticize you for a moment sir I would say that you need to make it a priority to email or talk to to your most irate customers and do what it takes to soothe their concerns. Your conduct here is doing nothing to help your situation nor your mental state. We all work under pressure situations and making excuses, while they may be valid, is not what helps your customers.

You appear to be quite young so I am giving you this advice. Son, this is the time to test your mettle and figure out how to resolve your problems without losing it. You are at a crossroads so settle down and figure out how to proceed.

Occasionally, I'll watch it ring once and then tell me there's a missed call. I also work full time and don't really pick up my phone between 8-5. I'll be more watchful of the phone from now on.
 
Thanks for at least posting that. If u can read then I really only owe 2 cases asap I have talked to eric who has talked to eric so there is noneed to tell me to contact anyone. Bencho never answers or calls back so maybe his phone does suck.some of u people act like I owe 20 cases. I have been in contact with anyone and thanks for the skype idea.

Eric gave u that deadline without talking to me first. Troyroy I will just refund u because u keep changing your mind back and forth so I'm not gonna be a few days out to see u post bs on az right after you have been talked to by eric. Bencho is capable of calling me also.

1 mtd....always been a nice guy and thats why his case isnt done yet because im trying to make is amazing and worth the wait. how horrable would i be if i just threw something together and said sorry for the wait heres a case that wasnt worth it

I meet both requirements.
1. I am waiting on a case - overdue, but I'm not worried about it.
2. I have talked with and emailed Chaz quite a few times, always with a timely response.

I just talked with him today for quite a while and it seems as though he is trying to get the cases out in the order from which they were received. I dont mind waiting for a top quality case. When I receive it and it is top quality, I will definitely order another. Already talked with Chaz about it twice. I think it will be ...SHARK!!! skin.
He told me he wont take the order until he is caught up.
And when he does take the order, Im sure he will have a better Idea of how long it will take.

Im not sure why he would duck everybody elses calls and not mine, he is just as late or later with mine than anybody elses.

Just wanted to convey my experience with Chaz and Chazdillon Custom Cases.

its alright man my last phone sucked too but emails work also and it would be alot easier to talk person to person so that way things like this dont go out of hand. im not mad at u but i wish u would have contacted me personally. also this is a buisness now and the saying that u cant please everyone is true. i just dont have time to post pics for everyone. im sorry but a phone call or email is just so much faster. if i post pics on az everyone wants to know how much a case is and whatnot. i cant answer everyone and my inbox fills up plus im not taking orders on az anymore. ill make a case for people that i alerady know are good people or ill just make one on my own and post it. if someone wants custom work done then they will just have to be understanding of a wait time and ill make sure to put it so far out that there is no way that i could not make the deadline.

if anyone wants to see what ive been working on i have PLENTY OF PICS on my computer and while im not going to sit here on az and post 100 pics i will send the whole file to an email address if they have any reason for me to do that. if that guy will put up the 5k ill take bencho, troyroy, lp, and mtd to vegas. so try and convince him its a good idea to call me out. he is another that came out of left field that has no idea what is going on. hopefully he can admit that maybe he jumped on the bandwaggon driven by hangem and he should get off at the first stop. i think once he got on he realized it wasnt a bandwaggon but a short bus and noticed that im not lying to anyone or doing anything wrong. yes i have stuff to finish...they know that and i know that. neither party needs anyone else to chime in.

2. I'm posting from work. I work in IT so I'm online 24/7.

3. You said that you work a lot and in your spare time you are working on cases. I only asked for the occasional status check on my case. I've been asking an average of twice a month, about once every two weeks; AFTER the initial promised date of like 2-3 months.

4. Each time you said "you were basically done and will be shipped out this week I promise you'll have a tracking number." Then I don't contact you again for two weeks and you tell me the same thing again. I don't see how MY not picking up the phone has to do with anything. Each time I PM you, you say it's about ready to go out the door. I give you two weeks and ask again, getting the same reply.

5. I don't run to AZ. It's one of many forums I browse frequently around the clock when I'm not sleeping. I like to keep up to date on everything I have an interest in.

5.5 I'm at the point where I don't see how talking to you is going to help anymore.

6. I haven't said anything about you dodging me AS FAR AS CONTACT GOES. If there's any dodging, it's about the actual completion and delivery of my case.

7. I'm not irate yet. If I was irate, Mr. Wilson would probably ban me for multiple counts of intricate, creative, streams of verbal swear words as well as the use of ALL CAPs. I'm just a customer who BELIEVES he's being marionetted.
