Your gonna have to ask Chaz, he stared two of the three you are complaining about. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 15 or so members that got taken in that fake raffle stat a thread too.

look i'm not saying the people he stiffed are not right to call him a f*cking deadbeat. he is. he has owed too much too long. my only question was does there have to be so many active threads for the same topic. why not just leave one open thread that everyone can b*tch in. and again when i say they can b*tch about it, i'm not being derogotory. i would be b*tching too. and yes i realize he started two of these but that doesn't change my feeling on only needing only one open and active. in fact i think someone who is actually still waiting on him to produce a case or a cash refund should start the f*ck the deabeat thread. or the chaz the thief has my money....how 'bout you thread. and let the rest of them die. believe me when i say i feel for the people who are out thier hard earned money.
 
I got a call form Charles today and guess what?!?!?!?!.............. the case will ship by Thursday:rolleyes::rolleyes: Yeah right! I'll believe it when I see it:mad:

i would make sure and call him Thursday several times until you have a confirmed tracking number. Call, call, call, and keep calling until its shipped

You know, I was gonna order one of these cases several months ago and he refused to talk through PM or email, so I just gave up.... LUCKY ME

Can anyone tell me what he charges for cases? Looking to have one made but wanted to know the cost of everything. Any type of information would be helpful and great. Thanks

Maybe he is still out in the pasture chasing that damn cow! Just Kidding of course, truly sad when someone uses such poor judgement and takes advantage of other people. Unfortunately this is becoming all too common as many have witnessed here over the years. I find it best to stick with the really established businesses these days. I know that not all new businessmen behave this way but from experience I have learned to not take chances with my finances.
GOOD LUCK to all in finding a resolution to the issues with this businessmen..

I have to agree that communication is the problem. But its also more honest communication. I have done my best to stay above the trashing and bashing in this thread. I have alway come to the defense of chaz because above all else he would always pick up the phone and answer my calls. I wasnt calling him daily either. I would give a couple weeks and the check back. As you might know my case is the case on the first page of this thread. It was a beautiful case that was delivered about 6 months after it was promised. I have since sent the case back to chaz for some adjustments to the lid and 2 side straps. That was sent back to him in October and I have yet to receive it back even though i was told by him on 2 occasions that the case was shipped he just had to get the tracking numbers. As you can see im still waiting. I too received a call from Charles stating my case would ship the Thursday before Presidents day and still nothing. Now this is on a case that is completely finished that I was told that it would only take a few days to modify. Its been 3 months and counting. I have asked for my money back because im just tired of the dishonesty and thats not happening either. I want Chaz to have much success in the case business. Most of the frustrations from the people im sure is not over the 200 to 300 bucks they paid him upfront for their case. Its being ignored and not being delt with honestly thru the process. If you set honest and upfront completion deadlines a lot of the issues customers has goes away. I hope that if he believes hes going to be successful in this business or any other business he is first going to have to make some serious amends with his customer who have entrusted him with their money when he was not know. If he thinks his new website customer base will not be from AZ hes sadly mistaken. Players who want custom cases will all come from here and will read this thread. Chaz, do the right thing and take care of the people who trusted you. Dont just ignore us in hopes that we will just go away. Our expectation on what YOU promised are somehow now unreasonable, and because you feel that way you just ignore us. Just my humble opinion.

I happened on this thread a few days ago and I ended up reading it front to back. I've kept up with it the last few days and after just reading the last post by Frank Cherry who received his case and sent it back to Chaz I felt I needed to post.
I'm a New Yorker where everyone thinks or wants things done yesterday. I've been guilty of jumping on someone when I don't think it's being done in a manner I think is timely enough but I've learned to give the benefit of the doubt because I realized that more than a few times I've been wrong.
But there is a limit to doing that. I think that customers that ordered cases have been more than fair with trying to support him. Especially John from JB Cases for going out on the limb for him. I almost ordered a cases just because of that. I've always like to support a new business because it's good to have new competition that creates better products overall. I've seen some of the pics of his cases Chaz is talented.
I'm not here to bash Chaz because there's been enough of that.
I just wanted to say that we all go through things in life and only the people closest to you are going to understand what your going through. I've lost both my parents and a good friend in the last 3 years. So I understand a little about feeling overwhelmed at times and frustrated where it just doesn't seem to end. It's up to YOU to deal with whatever your situation is and not make excuses. Ignoring customers and being dishonest with them are going to sink your business before it's even had a chance to start. You can't expect customers that have no personal relationship with you to keep being understanding. Put yourself in their shoes and how would you react if you were on the receiving end of that kind of treatment.
I was going to order a case and might have ordered 1 or 2 more. Unfortunately, I can't because from they way you've behaved, you've lost a future customer. I'm sure that I'm not the only one.
You should think about that.

Like I said I didint want to trash Chaz, im just not that kind of person. With that being said, if he want to be in this business he is gonna have to man up and face his audience. He is robbing peter to pay paul in the process and pissing the people who are truly bank rolling this operation off. As the previous post states he is also turning away potential customers as well. I think Chaz can really turn this ship that is out of control around if he just start to act like he is as concerned after you have paypaled the money as he shows while he is trying to get your money. Success in business is based on word of mouth and customer service. Southwest, hercek, and other top end cue makers business models shows us that people will be patient if you set the expectations up front. They have 10 year plus waiting list for cues, with people still paying money getting on that list. You think they would still be in business if the told people 6 to 8 months and it end up being 2 to 3 years? They would be out of business I dont care how well they make cues. People respond better when they know what to expect. Just some food for thought.

Totally agree with ya.....

I'm not going to bash Chaz 'cause I've been there. I've done what he's doing now. I've been pretty much a screw up all my life and I'm the king of excuses. I've also been real introspective in the last few years. Both my parents were sick and then gone. Trying to take care of them and not knowing anything. The learning curve was brutal and at times I was pulling my hair out. Always wondering if I'm doing it right or doing enough. Between doctors and appointments and life/death moments, I was drinking way too much. Then when an old friend of mine got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting killed for no reason. Things snapped into perspective for me.
I've come to the realization that anything that I do in life, no matter what the consequences, good or bad,is directly tied to my actions in the past or in the present. Sometimes things happen immediately or comes out of the blue but whenever something bad happens, I'm always wondering is that my karma catching up with me. I always try to do the right thing nowadays so that kinda stuff is less and less.
Just like Frank said, ya gotta man up. Excuses are like a$$h@(#$, everyone's got one.....

I also just spoke to Charles and he stated that my case was one of 4 that was shipping out today or tomorrow. I cant get excited by this any longer because this is just the same as usual. I want chaz to pick up the phone and tell me that himself. I think my man Chaz go into this with the best intentions and figured he could stay ahead of the money by building cases. He has soon learned that this is much harder that he anticipated, but the money was already spent. So when the dates couldnt be met he started with the stall tactics until that ran out then with the catostropic things in his life, and when that wore out he resorted to just flat out ignoring us. All because he doesnt have the money to refund. Its been spent on materials for the first case orders he took, and also he has to have money to pay rent and car payment and all. I didnt try and take advantage of his low price and build a crazy souped up case. I asked for a simple 2x4 with my name on it. THATS IT!! I would have gladly waited the 6 months it took to get it if that is what he would have told me up front it would take for it to be finished. He said about 2 to 3 weeks. I would say 6 weeks would still be reasonable, not 6 months and weeks of the run around. Thats what people are pissed about. Thats the part that he seems to not understand. I know it has to be annoying for dozens of people calling and texting you multiple times a day asking about their case. But he brought this on himself but not being up front and honest and telling the people who gave their money what to expect. He made knowingly false promises to get that upfront money. After all this I like Chaz, in the beginning he was a real cool dude. He is over his head, not with making cases, but the amount of orders and money he has taken with no way of meeting the deadlines he has told his customers. Nor does he have the money to refund those who want out. That is the reason for just resorting to totally ignoring the customer. If he doesnt fix this and fast, he better just go ahead and not complete that website, because he wont get another dime from anyone for a case. A sincere apology and some cases delivered will fix this whole thing. Just my humble opinion.

NOPE!

I spoke with Charles and Chaz today. I was told that I would have tracking info by Monday. Again, same old run around. I'll be surprised if any of us actually get a case out of this deal. Until the lies stop, I have no reason to believe otherwise.

I told Chaz, "Look man. Quit bullshitting me. Just tell me when the case will ship, and make sure it ships by then, that's all I'm asking of you." He told me, "I understand, the case will go out Monday"

You give the guy an out, and he still refuses to take it!

We'll see what happens and I'll update ya'll on Monday night
