This is Malasian Blackwood , and Ebony with 24 stiches of brass in the rings .

Just has a sealer coat , more sanding needed .

that Blackwood is some wild stuff. Looks good with the ebony. Nice looking cue Jim. Should be pretty sweet when finished... The rings are a nice touch...

I have come back to this cue several times to consider how it looks.

I really dig these dark woods we are seeing with large figure in them. There are several species.

This cue is dark...like Darth Vader dark.

But the handle gives it a real flair. I like it.

The ring work and wood come together really nice. I look forward to seeing it done.

The brass stitching and ebony definitely brings out the figure of the Blackwood.
Amazing work, in for the final product. I would love to stop by just to see it in person and talk jp's.
