Anybody like this cue? Thinking about getting it.
MM,
Seriously, I love the cue. Black and red Veneers are my favorite, and were Gus's favorites as well(my trivia for the day). I Like the cue alot, notched diamonds, the whole bit. The wrap at the bottom looks a bit funny to me, could be bad lighting or a amature wrap job-I cant tell.
I dont know who made the cue, but if its straight, priced right and well made(hard to tell from pics) it appears to be, then I'd buy it. If you can test drive it first thats even better to make sure you like the hit, I have bought a few cues just cause I like how they looked and I couldnt make them work for me, so I sold/traded them. So do everything you can to make sure you like the hit if its going to be your player( I assume it is).
I never heard of them before, There are alot of great cues out there right now at great prices, perhaps this is one of them, but i just dont know who made it. I dont know every cue maker thats for sure but I know alot of them.
best of luck,
Eric
PS: What I dont like is the pin looks like it was cast not milled down, and the wrap is fair at best, rings on the heel(buttsleve) didnt line up exactly perfect. This is all minor and since its a production cue you probably wont be getting this exact cue anyways. For $250 your in it good enough that if you decide to sell it you wont get destroyed. I awalys ask myself that when I'm buying a cue, "What if I have to sell it?", Some cues I dont care cause I wont ever sell them, others i'm very careful or wont do the deal because I know I'd lose a pile of $$. Your safe here for $250 IMO. I hope i helped you, its just my opinion,' I'm glad to see your enjoying your other cue and playing and buying another cue, welcome to the cue disease.....
