I have had this piece of Coco for 2-3 yrs . finally cored it last Dec. A one pc. stepped core ,flat laminated maple ,from end to end . .670 from A joint out the front and .750 out the back , all one pc . Cue is set to have a textured black leather wrap . Canvas phonolic big weave rings between .030 brass rings , Brass 3/8 x 10 pin . With wild figure of the coco, should look good .

added a sealer coat .

Crazy cocobolo is my favorite. That's a sweet looking piece! Nice job you're doing there Jim. Would love to see some pics when she's all done.

Will it have J/P's? :D

That is beautiful. I enjoy seeing woods with multiple colors showing. I enjoy the ebony with some brown streaks showing as well. It is nice to see this highly figured cocobolo with different colors in it too. I don't think I could have waited as long to start using it... spectacular example of coco there.
As said before, no inlays needed.

also Jim,
I should get my Cue in a few weeks. It is only lacking the wrap. I'll try and get a decent pic of it with the JP's that you made me posted up on my thread, or start a new JP review with it posted.

Nice work all the way around. I am looking forward to the finished pics of your cue.:thumbup:
