Here is a new cue I just finished up for a customer. This cue has an ebony forearm with ebony points and butt sleeve with golden colored veneers. Black elephant ear wrap and matching joint protectors. Thanks for looking

Very cool.

I like the inlay in the points. Many would think it is upside down...but it definitely sets the cue apart.

Ring work is very nicely done. Some might see that as a "crown style" butt cap...but it isn't. There is a thin black butt cap below it. So to me that is a matching set of "crown style" rings...and very nicely done.

I see you decided not to carry that over into the shaft rings where you just matched the thin black ring. Also an interesting, and perhaps unexpected, design point like the point inlay. Makes the shaft look "all business"...party in the back and business up front as they say.

Do you mind if I ask what white material you chose for the rings and inlays?

Thanks for showing off! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you for all the nice comments on the cue. The white material in the cue is an ivory substitute called resin-ivory. I think it looks closer to ivory than most of the other substitutes I've seen. It has nice end grain, that looks very close to ivory. Here is a better picture of the joint protectors that show the grain in the material.
