Are you guys saying the Jackpot cue buyers could have ordered the cues direct and saved more than half of what they paid?

If Schmelke did in fact make them, then yes, that is what it is looking like.

But of course....Then you would not have the famous crackpot dimensions that allow you to draw the rock 18 rails, score a Hawaiian Tropic model, and make you extremely lovable to all who encounter you.

But other than that, yeah, it looks like $200 cues being sold for more than double the price is the game being played (again, if Schmelke was the maker).

The emotional cost of the buyer admitting they've been had is far too high.

I almost bought one - I woulda been way beyond hot finding out Jack didnt make these cues.

Still trying to figure out why they think this is ok and how they are still getting away with it

I was offered a Jackpot cue for half of the original selling price. So I’m thinking yeah, more than likely. But I did kind of want a Shmelke 😑

Buy yourself a Jackpot!

Its a Schmelke so nice, they charge you twice the price!

ps. And then half again.

Note to self, investigate Quaker settlements in Texas.

I'm still confused.

So then who were the wonderful cue makers that dean referred to who wanted to help Jack build these cues and who wished to remain anonymous?

Kickin' Schmelke will build a Merry Widow with BEM & Rosewood for $225. Or BEM & Cocobolo for $235. I don't know the upcharge for Ebony. But a longer taper or thin shaft is about ten bucks too. Perhaps the logo delete is $250.

The story only makes sense if you add "in your dreams" after each statement.

I don't know a lot about cue manufacturers. But from what I've heard on here through the years is that Schmelke builds a quality cue.

Some of you have criticized the quality of the zorro/jackpot cues.

So, Schmelke making these cues doesn't add up to me.

A corrolla is a nice Toyota.
A Lexus is a nice Toyota.
A corrolla is not a Lexus.

Exactly.

Jacoby currently builds Schuler Cues. They are Schuler Cues and not Jacoby Cues.

Saluc manufactures Aramtih Crowns and Duramith Tournament ball sets. Aramith Crowns are not Duramiths.

From what I see in the Jackpot cue, it has its own design specifications.

Long story short is the buyers seem happy but the AZ jury is still out.

I saw no need to ***** from the 1st time I read "money back if you are not satisfied".

The story, however, does give everyone a chance to pile on.

Here’s another question was there a Tascarella Mistakenly sent out? Or was that a diversion from What we know now?
