This just makes me want to hear a soundbyte out of Poolhall Junkies where Christopher Walken says :

"Let's play! Like; like children!"

9 Foot Olhausen at the job, no one here even plays pool really besides the President of the company.

This is a dream come true :)

What do you think about those pockets?

Also, being able to practice on this thing is a pure dream.

I'll try to post more videos as I get progressively better.

The pockets are so tight and the cloth so fast which I'm definately not used to. I'm thinking this will definately help to hone my game especially if I can deal with the initial frustration of pocket rejects, rattles, etc.

Nice table, pockets look to be around 4 3/4 or so, not super tight, but not too loose. Should be a decent practice table. Word of advice, if you play better than your boss....... its best he doesnt know it. :D

A pool table at your job ??? man your lucky... a happy employee is a productive employee.or at least should be.....:)

Hah, the boss is very competitive and not a bad player at all. Beat me a few times, we haven't really played too much.

But yeah, that tables going to get a lot of play now that I'm here ;)

very nice, i would love to have one of those at my place of work...though i would probably get fired for lack of production :D

Hey are you guys Hiring cuz I am interested in a job at where you work at lol!!!!!!!!!

Yea the new pockets will always be a bit touchy. I see you guys also got some Super Aramiths too!

And yes Fast cloth is a trip if your not usta playing on it. But it will make your stroke better with your CB control. But it kinda sucks when you go back to slow cloth cuz then you have to let your stroke out a bit more.

But over all if you dont see your game improving by playing on this table then something is wrong.

that's really nice what some employers do for their people....OCC > Orange County Choppers with Paul sr..when he built his new building he installed about a 2000 sq.ft weight room to die for...he said most if not all the employees now work out..i really like to see things like this happen......

He had walmart balls and still has a plastic rack on this 9 foot!

I brought my Super Aramith Pro balls and a few cues. I'm definately one of the only ones besides him who even semi takes the game seriously.

Furthermore, there is a large weight room/facility in here too.

As well as 3 60" plasma's, community XBOX 360. DirectTV. It's nice :)

Hey, where do you work at man?? I'm in the DFW area, and I just happen to be looking for a new job. :D

Workplace

I am curious, what kind of business is this?

Nearly everyone who ever worked for me was recruited from the pool hall, but we never had a table. Nothing would have got done and my wife would have left.:D (she worked there too,but doesn't play pool.)

Wow. Then what have I been playing on? Extremely oversized JUGular buckets? :)

Probably. Those pockets look pretty big. In our town's tighest tables the pocket won't take two balls. And the rails are pretty tough on you as well. If you miss they punish you and hang you up. But if you've been playing on quick clothed 8 foot gandy's than you've been shooting balls into the ocean. :D

If both balls fit in the pocket, they are buckets, let alone a gap between them!

Survey SAYS!!!!

*DING*

Audience: Not tight!!

Yes! You'll get used to those pockets in no time and the old ones will seem huge.

Here's my tricked up table's pockets:

I had just found that pic and was just about to post it until i saw you beat me to the punch.....

All's well though, since it is your table. :p

Well, either way. I enjoy being able to go 20 feet from my cubicle and bang balls around, or punch a bag, lift weights, run on a treadmill, XBOX 360, 60" HDMI TV, whatever... :D
