He's an active and respected forum member, a pro player, and he runs several tournaments for the Viking tour. He can be contacted here by that name. Fast_n_loose and manwon are also well respected and will give you a quality and objective product review.

Hello AZBilliards Forum Members,

I am looking to introduce a new product to the billiards community. For the past year & a half or so I've been working on designing a new product called The Laser Rack. I'm just past the prototyping phase and am close to my first short-run production build.

I am looking for 5 willing participants who would be interested in testing & reviewing my new product. I'm looking for feedback on quality, ease-of-use, problems, etc... I want to manufacture a quality product and your feedback will be very helpful.

More information about the rack can be found on my website (http://www.Laser-Racks.com). Basically, the rack has lasers built into it and allows users to get a perfectly positioned rack repeatably. It also allows one to be able to use both ends of the table and get rid of the footspot.

Mr. Wilson (moderator) has already volunteered so I will need 4 more participants. The test samples will not be ready for another couple of weeks so please inquire within.

Well, I would have loved to test this rack out, as I am pretty freakin' rack picky, and felt I could have given you a fair and unbiased assessment, but it looks like I am WAY down the list....unless you would like a female's point of view...we are the shoppers, afterall.

Are you thinking selling wholesale to mueller types etc? I do know a few people who have marketed prouducts like the Euro pocket Chalker . mark

Will even see about using it during league play and go from there. I hope you keep the first come, first serve basis as I would love to try it out.

Bastian- I've designed the rack to be safe. The lasers will not turn on unless 2 conditions are met: (1) the rack is flat on the table surface and (2) there are balls inside the racks. Also, the lasers are only Class 1, less power then a laser pointer (Class 2).

With the # of responses, I may have to hold a lottery. Any suggestions?

I will make sure the rack gets some good exposure if it is sent to Josh as is intended. I also shoot with two other posters here regularly as well as some jam up players. If this arrives soon enough, I will make sure Josh or I take it to a few tournaments as well.
