If they ever put a mic on a table and let Jude and Bobby Emmons play sets people would laugh their asses off at the hilarious shit talking they give each other. Even better if Garth was commentating and had a couple of beers before hand.


I literally laughed so hard I was crying listening to those three jaw at each other.

I watched this entire match that was available on youtube.

This guy Tim Heath took Jimmy Mataya to school at the table.

At first he annoyed me but he seemed to win the battle of wits and he totally grew on me.

That is absolutely AMAZING. Tim is sick-good. I don't know if I could spot him anything if he played one handed and me with both. Just ridiculous. Best one handed play I've ever seen.... which might not be saying much because I've only seen bar-clowns who guard their ego by playing one handed.

Who's the best one handed player of all time.... and whos the best thats on youtube?

I think this is a great idea.

Unfortunately I would fall short in both skill level and personality.I can think of a few players who would be perfect though.

That is why he would not play you.You can match him buck for buck, it is the $ that make better players give him to much weight then falter.You would not be intimidated by the wager.As far as one handed players there was/ is a player in Detroit who they call Miami that was one of the best.

Yes, Weldon and I traveled many years on the road....he was the best one handed player I ever saw....Weldon thought "Little Sergio" was a shade better. Mike Massey is another GREAT one handed player, he's ran 5 rack in a row on a bar table "Jacked Up"....and did it against "Jr. Weldon".

I have played Jr my two to his one and I still got schooled. Watching him run racks jacked up is very depressing when you think you can play a little. When he jacked up in the middle of the table and speared the ball in and drew the cue about 12 feet for shape I just shook my head and unscrewed.

I miss Jr being around, he was always good to me and I liked hanging out with him. He could flat play but fishing was his real passion, if there was a way to hustle fishing he would have been in heaven.

I hope I get to see him again someday.
