Eisen 12 by 36 lathe with DRO.
Just finished installing a dust shoot/spout .
Still need to build cabinetry behind it .
The dust hose config/location might still need tweaking .
Machine is really accurate.
I sold my Jet 13 by 40 for this .
I slapped the D1-4 backplate and the outside indicated .002" right off the bat.
It does work "heavier" than good old American steels out there .
Will probably use it for final cuts, bores and facing .

How well does it fit a 29" piece between centers? She's purdy.

Just enough.
I'm getting the rear chuck sleeve made now .
The biggest kicker on this the spindle hole is 1.590" .
They really polished that 1 9/16 inside .
I bought a few feet of 1 5/8 delrin for collets and trimmed them.
They slide inside nicely. Unlike on the Jet or Birmingham lathes.
The compound is really good and beefy too.

I would have leave that plastic on that DRO. I remember when I was young. My parents plastic cover on our sofa :D:D:D

now that you have all this fancy machinery,
will you be tripling your cue work
going to do THREE this year ?
:p

Hahaha!
Two were delivered this year already.
Double your quota before March Madness ends. :D

Sweet looking lathe. I found their replacement milling heads interesting; might think about replacing the head on one of my Bridgeports. Can't seem to find prices anywhere on their site though.

Really easy to talk to.
Taiwan steel is a lot better than China steel as you know.

3200-4000 on ebay.

I've got the head off of Strouds mill still in the crate. Never installed or hooked up to machine. I'll check the bolt pattern. If it fits you can have it for shipping

Space

I don't think any of that stuff would fit in my basement......I've got to get a building.......Congrats Joey...........You deserve it

Joey is a cheater. He has a DRO and did you notice, a Red Button.

You just push it and the lathe makes cues automatically.

But yes, like Eric said, it is Purdy. Wish that I had room for a big one. Kinda hard to take one down the basement stairs, even if it were in pieces.

All my Friends seem to be disabled for some reason. I doubt that I could gather enuff to do the job.

But, I am Blessed cause they are good Friends, just all screwed up.
