I really like that cue...and I'm not big on butterfly cues at all. I like the short wrap. Very cool and different.

Very nice cue...the buttsleeve is longer and the wrap is shorter? that's unique...

double j holds the cue at the very end of the butt must be reason for short wrap and long but sleeve....

Jeremy Jones Gabe Owen,Bob Owen cues are played by the best players in the world,and they look great to me.i really like the cues,this is the first butterfly cue i have seen Bob make,but it is really nice looking.I have stated on AZ that i buy as many of these as he will let one person buy and i love the cues.

my purpose for responding is to recomend these cues to you,whether you are a collector or a player.i think you will love the cues

No story, I have done several cues like that. It allows more room at the butt to show the butterflys.

i don't really dig butterfly points but i dig that one. the short wrap really does give the points room to shine!

I guess I'm the only one that really dislikes the short wrap area. What purpose does it serve? Might as well had no wrap at all.

That being said, I've seen many Shurtz cues and they all seem to be top quality.

the last thread said Shurtz cue,I understand that Bob Owen is making his own line of custom cues with sharp points,sharp inlays and quality second to none.I have been buying all of these I can get because I like the quality,the workmanship,attention to detail,the hit ,and to those of you who know me,the value. If Gabe and Jeremy play the cues,and collectors like Dennis Glenn and tightwads like myself are buying these cues,maybe you should buy one from Bob
