New Slate Dolly

Very happy! I love your OTLVISE! At 55 years old, moving 9ft slates up and down stairs ALONE was amazing. John, this is one of the best, most versatile tools I've ever worked with.

was thinking you might get a idea of a way to add it in to your design..

are they still being made?

No, Ken is happy to be out of the dolly business. It was an older design
that had been around for years from another person. It was too expensive to produce for a limited market.

I also think Johns is more versatile to use for many more applications and i also like the compactness of the unit. I have seriously been stress testing
this thing and it is holding up great! You guys should seriously check it out
as the function and quality is VERY impressive.

We still grab and go everyday with slates as most of you guys but this will
definitely come in handy quite often.

bar tables

I'm wondering about how many guys move Diamond tables and or Bar Boxes.

Thinking this set up in tandem with special brackets made exactly to fit as a cradle with the rails being on the inside of the dolly flat plate and the bracket supporting the frame on the other side, all together about 4 feet long when connected. A nice thick rubber mat for the rails to lean on also.

I have moved bar tables..a few from home to home up and down steps.....the only thing is' when doing down or up steps to the basements there is only about a inch or two of clearance from the top of the table to the ceiling..there is no way to put any wheeled device under it...I strap moving blankets to the box or just lay em over the carpet or wood floor for box protection and kinda weasel it up or down the steps with a few guys..' take that in consideration and maybe a attachment that's long with wheels that are on each end but flush and compensate for the angle of the valleys..
Keep up your practice

I made something up that's the stone cold nuts for that, and it's almost stupidly simple. But it works well. Trying to decide if I want to share. ;)

Moving loads over 1000 lbs require the use of smaller tires and should be of the "FLAT Free" nature. Testing begins next week.

The new attachment is 4 ft long and 1\4 inch thick

You should check the load rating of the tires in that size, most are rated at #400lbs max....so when you go to pick up one end to turn it...that amount of weight exceeds the max rating for the 2 tires supporting the weight. Good job John...bought time you came up with something worth while:D
