Barry Szamboti Hoppe

This is one of the cues I picked up in VF (I'm glad it arrived safely :) ) Very simple beauty. Blacks and whites. Hoppes are definitely a big favorite of mine.

Thanks to Scott Murphy for a smooth deal.

Note: I was kind of scared to post this after Ken Kerner posted his Godzilla Szamboti cue. It is a little bit intimidating. :o

i love hoppe cues, thats a great one for sure, congrats. the peacocks in the points are great.

I have 2 Gus Hoppe that are almost identical same color veneers just in a different order, I hit a few balls with it yesterday, it is in mint condition and felt great, i might have a Barry Hoppe also I hope I do, i'll have to check and see  .

Hoppe cues can be addicting.
I know how I got my start on hoppe cues.
Wonder what swayed you towards them.

Lovely cue and I am so glad it made its way into your case.

Not only a great cue...but it also now has a great story behind it. Hoppes and Peacocks...how could you go wrong?

i went and checked and I do have one Barry Hoppe cue, i remembered it when i saw it, it is one of first cues Barry made he told me, its a 4pt. with no veneers, irish linen and a nice Hoppe ring.

Very nice, you will never go wrong dealing with Scott Murphy or any of the guys at CueAddicts. p.s. Did i tell you that i'm crazy for your cue? Congrats, Bob C.

Hi Jimmy,
you showed me this cue at Valley Forge.
I thought it was incredible at the time ,and my opinion has not changed.
you were very quick off the mark in getting that cue. I thought our mutual friend "ATM" would have bought it.
hope the shoulder is better,
best wishes,
Sanj

Nice cue Jimmy, I think you know how I feel about Szamboti cues. Glad to see it survived your "ordeal" and hope you are 100%.

The second is with Barry right now. He is putting a nice piece of leather on the cue. Another simple, but classic style. Maple and ebony. Nice veneers, ivory spears in the points and back of the cue. Bushka ring above the wrap.

Niether compare to your rosewood on rosewood. One of my favorite cues of all time. Absolutely spectacular.

Thanks,
Jimmy
